In this video, Ten, Taemin and Kai are probably in three different mental status- Ten keeps spelling and announcing his name with his voice and his body. He represents the reality, where the true self exists. Taemin actually performed in Two different locations- one is the same as Ten's, the other looks a lot more dreamy. And he keeps mentioning dream (dreams take over). So I would assume that Taemin gets into the second level- dream. Kai gets into the third level-dream in a dream(where everything becomes possible-quote NCT Mentary). The way he opens an invisible door can prove that. The way he dances is more conflicted and with more struggle, maybe it shows that he is on another spiritual level.
