This Vika is not just my muse. This is a girl with whom I have been friends since school, went to art school together, now we live in different cities, we rarely see each other, but we always treat each other with trepidation. And at some point, I just offered her to take a picture without hope of consent, because I know that she is quite shy and conservative. And she took it and agreed, but asked to be in panties. The comfort of the model is above all) I'm not really against linen ... BUT - it should be as neutral as possible, not to attract attention to itself. + a large amount of underwear that is produced in the modern world is very sexy - laces, harnesses, stones, bows, nets ... in such underwear you can't see a woman, you can't see her true emotional state. My task is to show a person through the body, not through underwear.

2021-10-08 10:21:06 +0000 UTCAmazing model, amazing shots! There are so many things I like about these, but the thing that really caught my attention was the role of the panties in these shots. In some of your texts and photos I get the impression that you mostly prefer to shoot without any underwear or lingerie, but there are also a couple of sets where lingerie does play a big and obvious role, especially in the sets shot for a designer. In these the panties are quite low key, plain and simple (and I don't know who designed them) but they really envelop and define the hips, waist and thighs of the model in the shots (especially 3-6, 15 & 18). They rise high on the leg, accentuating the natural curves and lines on her body that stay outside of them while at the same time revealing the shapes of what is covered. They allow bringing a bit of playfulness into the shots, but it's clear this is not adult entertainment. It's kind of brilliant. At the same time it's obvious that these are art in and of themselves and not a commercial shoot or instrumental to any other purpose. I was wondering if this was coincidental or something you planned into the shots? It all seems so natural and effortless elegance with your work it's hard to tell.
