[Cogwork] Monster - Polymajigs

The polymajigs are a race named after the "thingamajig" term. I was inspired by the lawful regular polyhedrons of the dice and wanted to design constructs that would similarly reflect the extreme balanced nature of a regular polyhedron. While designing them, I was very tempted to give them random effects based on their polyhedral die size, but I also knew that would lean too far into chaotic. In the end, I opted to match their weapon damage and Recharge dice sizes.

My favorite unique-(ish) idea that came out of this is the de-evolution of polymajigs as they are slain, similar to how the fleshwarp from the Polymer Lab compendium worked. In this instance, though, the polymajig would likely give up when their outermost shell is broken. I also like that the icosamajig is designed to rumble and roll over everything :)

A curious race of constructs reside in the lawful plane of Axiom, first created by the demigod that embodies the plane. At their core, polymajigs are incarnations of order, each manifest as a pinprick sphere of colored energy. Their outer mechanical shells serve as a vehicle for the creatures, compressed equally across their radial facets, forming regular polyhedral shapes.
