[Tools] Item - Infiltrator's Map

This map is great for the cartographer who needs to do a job in a secure compound. I thought a lot about its unlimited use of 15-foot mapping, which would theoretically reveal a labyrinth's secrets, but I figure the 10-minute use time would make whatever threat in the labyrinth much more deadly (and a game more tense).

Master cartographers have killed to get their hands on one of these mapmaking parchments. Some have already done so literally, using the map to identify and eliminate key targets within unfamiliar foreign territory.

Infiltrator's Map
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a character proficient with cartographer's tools)

You can use this parchment as cartographer's tools for mapmaking. While attuned, you also double your proficiency bonus to ability checks made using cartographer's tools. Creatures unaware of the parchment's properties initially perceive it as a simple tool and can use an action to recognize its true purpose by succeeding on a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana or Investigation) check.

Draw Surroundings. This 12-inch by 18-inch piece of parchment is enchanted with divination magic. Over the course of 10 minutes while holding the parchment unfurled, you can cause it to magically map the general layout of the land and its creatures within 15 feet of you. This map primarily displays vertical elements at your eye level such as walls or trees, but not other floors above or below you. It may display hidden rooms or secret passageways this way, though it does not reveal their means of access. While you remain inside the mapped area, the map also represents creatures' locations as small moving dots, and those creatures cannot benefit from being hidden from you. The map cannot identify the creatures, nor can it reveal anything invisible or magically hidden.

This map remains on the parchment until you cause it to map another area, or until you speak another command word that temporarily renders the parchment blank. Repeating that command word causes the map to reappear. 

Draw Region. When you use this parchment's Draw Surroundings property, you can cause it to map the area within 75 feet of you instead of 15 feet. Once used, this property cannot be used again until the next dawn.
