This javelin is originally the gnomon of the Apotheose Dial, a mythical artifact capable of sending its users through space and time. The javelin is a powerful magic item in its own right, capable of altering the passage of time for its wielder.

Chronostad Needle
Weapon (javelin), legendary (requires attunement)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and you deal an additional 1d6 force damage whenever you hit with it.

Chronostatic. When you make a thrown attack with this weapon, it reappears in your hand immediately after it hits or misses.

Stable Passage. While attuned to this weapon, you cannot be magically aged against your will.

Manipulate Time. This weapon has 5 charges for the following properties, and regains 1d4+1 expended charges daily at dawn. While holding the weapon, you can expend the necessary number of charges to activate a property.

Accelerate. As a bonus action, you can expend a charge and make one attack with the weapon. If you hit your target, you can make one additional attack against it with the weapon.

Time Warp. As a bonus action, you can expend a charge and teleport either to a space you can see within 30 feet of you, or the space you occupied at the start of your turn. If the target space is currently occupied, this bonus action fails.

Apotheose Dial. This weapon emits a low vibration while within 100 feet of the Dimensional Sieve. This effect is suppressed when both objects are physically combined.
