2026-02-11 05:16:17 +0000 UTCAt present, Giles is the only age appropriate one for me, as I'm now older than Anthony Head was when Buffy started. However, at the end of Angel Wesley was a little older than my fiancé is now... So either Giles or Baby Giles would be my pick. At the time Buffy was being made, I thought Seth Green was a cutie so I would have picked him. But as an adult I want someone I can buy a house with and have a whole room of floor to ceiling bookshelves full of fascinating books. And a realtor friend of mine actually showed a client around a house where they found a hidden door in the back of a closet that opened on a hand-dug staircase into a creepy basement that was absolutely not supposed to be there. (One bare light bulb and a toilet in the corner. Clearly crimes had happened.) So I know there's at least once house in my area where any dangerous books on magic and such could be stored safely. Although there is a case to be made for a basement dungeon as containment for a werewolf.
