Freddie here! The movie Matt and I directed a few years back called We're All Gonna Die, starring Ashly Burch (Mythic Quest, Mark Likely) and Jordan Rodrigues (Dance Academy, Lady Bird) and featuring Beth May (writer, poet, "Ron," etc.) is in theaters this weekend! This movie premiered at SXSW last year and now we're doing an independent theatrical run before putting it on the ol' digital download platforms.
What theaters are showing the movie?

B... but It's not showing anywhere near me...
...YET!
We're getting into these theaters the old fashioned way - by cutting deals directly with independent theaters and theater chains around the country. Theaters need flexibility to program a movie like ours, and we already have additional locations confirmed for next week in other parts of the country. But the most helpful thing has been having folks who are interested contacting and tagging their local independent theaters on social media (we've brought on numerous additional theaters this way).
These smaller theaters program and serve their local communities in ways that the megaplexes don't, so them knowing that there are people in their vicinity interested in a movie has been a massive help in getting us programmed.
In any case, stay tuned, we'll be updating our theaters on the website as things develop, and of course we will eventually put the thing on digital platforms where it'll compete with Bluey and Grey's Anatomy.

McKinney, Frisco, Prosper, Plano, Allen. Anyone up here wouldn't be willing to drive through actual Dallas for a movie (live show, absolutely; movie, probably not haha) but you have enough population and money in the northern suburbs to make it a good option. (SPOILERS) I lost my sister to a car accident nearly two decades ago and my BIL to suicide 2 years ago, this film really touched me with its honest depiction of grief and how we crawl our way through the dirt to find each other through it. Would love a physical copy one day 💕
