Cthulhu is such a fun system to listen to. But the real terrifying horror of season three so far is my codependent ass worrying about how Anthony may or may not be feeling about his change of role. My hunch is that this is exactly what he wanted: a break after six years of DMing. Anthony’s response to the first listener question lets me know he’s doing just fine.

This show has put gas in my hacking engines more times than I can count (or maybe they’re Japanese compliments??). Since I graduated with my MA in 2020 I haven’t had many conversations with other writers/filmmakers, which in itself I think tends to starve the creative part of my brain — so many good ideas come out of random conversations — but it’s also just such a relief to hear from other creatives (the questioner included) that I’m not the only one who loses steam. Definitely helps mitigate the impostor syndrome, and just in time for me to submit my PhD application!! Thanks, y’all ❤️

I've also been struggling with regaining my creativity for a few years now (as are so many friends of mine and creators I follow online). I'm someone who needs a core group of other creative people in order to feel motivated. Thank you all for saying what you said. The advice y'all gave has given me a little hope, especially the parts about moving from project to project rather than staying stagnant and doing other things with your life.
