i have no idea what the intro was in reference to

Silent H

I do love you guys tho dungeons and daddies is the best worst podcast

Leo

This episode with Jimmy is exceptionally more self masturbatory. I like men but the amount that you all stroke each others ego is disgusting. Get a room.

Leo

Hey dads here’s a free title for the Beth may true crime bonus thing: Beth May’s Macabre (might be wrong spelling on the last word)

Dylan Laughlin

You have to know that you'll cry in the car But be okay in the meeting Quite of the episode 🔥

Joey that Fire Circus Guy

Hearing Beth talk about her difficulties with combat and wanting to be able to get it down like everyone else is able to really makes the part in a future episode where she really wants to make Sneak Attack work hit a lot harder.

Chris Nickens

as someone who wants to be a writer/actress this made me stressed

ihatehxh

There's some really unfortunate fanfiction about d&dad's that it's for the best they don't read any

Quantum OFZENTRIX

I think they all forgot that the Red Brands were more like rich kid Boy Scouts and not drug lords

Hita

I agree with the comment immediately above. I listened to this while cooking on the BBQ and felt like I was hanging out with the dad’s (Love Jimmy on the podcast btw). This episode made me feel really good about supporting the podcast with a subscribership. Love listening to you guys and loving the 2nd season content so far!

Jim

Facts I just looked

Brittany Courter

This was a heartwarming episode of talking dad's, I love hearing all your guy's/girl's inspiration and insight, it's adds so much to the experience for me

Matt's advice "don't do it unless it makes you happy in solitude" isn't really meant for all ears, especially for people with depression who can rarely find anything that gives them joy let alone a job. I liked Anthony's advice more, as a designer nothing I make actually makes me happy because I just picked it apart for the past 100 hours looking for flaws. What pushes me forward isn't necessarily "happiness". Edit: this is not an attack on Matt... There's no way for someone to take every point of view into account.

Matt Noh

Maybe a spin off using the My Little Pony RPG.

Virgil McClurken

Beth May = insanely relatable. As someone with ADHD getting so fixated on one part of something and not being able to see all parts is so overwhelming. I struggle with that in my boring day job and I can't imagine having to juggle that during a recording. Kudos to all of you for making such an awesome show!!

The second I heard Freddie mention an Australian true-crime podcast I knew it was gonna be Teacher's Pet. That one was wild and I check every few months on if there's been any updates on the court hearing.

Glynis Bateson

WHAT IS THE THEORY?! That was the biggest tease! Talk about this theory that's plausible and then as soon as Freddie is about to explain it, you cut the conversation short!

russellrd

I applauded Will’s Pride And Prejudice joke!!

acaciaskye

Thought Henry was going to say he has playlist of stuff like whale noises, raindrops, and earthly sounds.

Joshua Morales

Also have adhd! I do actually use a digital doc, but our dm asked us to create a separate combat cheat sheet, which forced me to go back through my options and made me feel very familiar with what I could do, and overwhelms me a lot less than the overall character sheet.

Molly Hoyer

Literally Beth saying she has ADHD made me tear up a lil the number of hysterically funny neurodivergent women out there is giving me the will to live. We're just on a different level.

Caitlin Flavell

Hi D&Ds! Just a quick note to say I don't work in 'the industry' though for real feeling some of the same energy. 16 year career, fairly successful, literally created some industries where I can't get a friggin job because ??? Just missed out on a new job 20 miles from home in a big company that's desperate to crack into the industry I introduced to them three years ago. No feedback on why. Anyway...waa waa for me, at least I've got you guys! You guys keep up the Dungeon & Daddies (and Talking Dads). Much needed insight and levity.

Kindly Giant

Good catch! 😉 Thank you!

Ashley Nicollette

I will now forever be expecting a movie

Alyssa Fej

I'm fully caught up and wonder what's going to happen with not only Well Actually but,Mark Likely because, even though Scam is "alive" Mark wouldn't know that (because of how they did it so,it wouldn't rewrite the cannon) and also they still killed the library which is both their cousins Loving this super dope podcast You guys are like a two peas in a pod cast

raven rodger

As someone not involved in it but curious, I loved the discussion/lamenting of the industry in this episode. As well as the discussion and stories about fanfiction, great to see something that can be so positive be validated by creators

Saysca

i think you made a little error in the title folks! very enjoyable episode

From one ADHDer to another, I highly recommend writing out spells/combat moves on separate cards and when you hit a combat situation, you can then flip through easily. I have a really hard time using digital lists for things, but handwritten works great. You can color-code or doodle a symbol to help you find particular types of moves (ranged, cantrip/no roll needed, etc) and then you set yourself a mental note "combat=cards" and then the cards themselves take over. Having everything on a page or in a digital document is pretty...not practical for those with less-than-perfect executive function :)

Noah Jay

Oh what??? Oak Jamz does not exist :(

FMLitsNikkeh

Anthony's not wrong about listening to anything. I don't care what they're talking about, it's just so enjoyable to listen to.

Yo Will! Two days ago I discovered this flippin amazing fanimation and think I've been sorta lowkey hyperfocusing on Henry since (Hey Beth, neurobuddies!): https://youtu.be/jLaDYRDC-ks Anyway, I work at a dinosaur museum. Today I was assigned "the trackways", sitting on huge slabs of rock containing sauropod footprints, scooping sand into its corners. Seemed like an appropriate time to break out Rocks Rock. Listened to the whole geology album tapping away at some serious geology (did turn it down a bit for Cummingtonite... Didn't really feel like explaining it to my boss). Anyway just wanted to confirm again how much Rocks Rock rocks.

Serpentine

I don't listen to Serial. I'm not into true crime stuff. I can't handle it.

Emily

The buffy one shot should just be everyone playing one of Buffys terrible love interests

Avery Vinter

You guys have helped me through my commute the past year and a half. Now that I don't need to commute, I thought it would be hard to listen to you guys. But as I'm transitioning from being an early bird to a night owl for my new shift, you guys are helping me out stay up. It is currently 12am. So thanks for helping me through this as well!

Gabriel Virgen

I wouldn't be mad about a Beth May true crime episode js

Zackary Aubrecht

hi, fellow white girl crime junkie here, 10/10 would be obsessed with some Beth May true crime content to satisfy my needs when waiting for more Ashely Flowers. Also Oak Jamz does not exist on spotify
