WHO IS THIS "KID"?! - Game of Thrones 4x10-1

It's also been shown that the wights are impervious to the magic of The Wall. If The Night King and his White Walker kindred were not affected, Westeros would be a ruin.

I love Mance as a character. He's pissed off that his plan went to the shitter, but he understands why Jon did what he did, hell he actually even admires him for it. He also could tell Jon was hurting over Ygritte's death. Mance is a good dood at heart. I also love that bit where Mance and Jon both drink to Mag The Giant and Grenn. The mutual respect between Jon and Mance always gets mah man tears flowing. Mance was both sincere in his words to Jon, but not just that, objectively speaking he is right. Both of them know The White Walkers are back and they will kill everyone. The Night's Watch and Wildlings have fought one another for a long, long time, but if Mance had gotten his way, The Wildlings would stand in defense of anyone opposed to the White Walkers. They're just people trying to survive. And Stannis coming in for the save is how I believe "Stannis The Mannis" became a sort of meme within the GOT community. I am not too fond of him as a character(not that he's badly written, but his stoicism almost makes me see him as a soulless roboman), but much like Alliser, I admire that he abides by his principles. The moment Jon said he was Eddard's son, Stannis was 100% open to listening to anything Jon said. I also love that Jon told Stannis to spare Mance's life and Stannis did so. Jon respects Mance. I will give Cersei some props... Albeit with an asterisk. She does want Gregor's life saved on account that he has been a loyal vassal and friend to her house, but of course her intentions are to keep him alive as a useful tool; not out of any sort of emotional bond. Also I am loving how she is increasingly growing to not even hate Pycelle, but dismiss him entirely. Qyburn is a nutty dood, but I like him. I have a respect for those who are of the mindset of "fuck the rules, the status quo, and I will do what I want, because I know what the fuck I am doing." Much as I hate Cersei, she was a proper badass standing up to Tywin. Like she is just done lmao. She will bring scorched earth if it means her last son remains alive. XD This is also the great fallacy of Tywin. He is too hung up on pride in regards to his House's name and legacy and this was borne of the very thing that made him feared aka when he brought House Reinnes down. Yet for his repeated talks of how "family" is what matters, Cersei called him out, just as Tyrion did before(Episode 10 of S3 if memory serves, when Joffrey was all giddy over Robb and Catelyn being dead.) 17:29 Jesus dood! XD That joke made me spit my water out lmao Dany learning hard lessons! I do feel bad for Viserion and Rhaegal, but what Dany did with them makes sense. She was genuinely heartbroken over hearing that Drogon had burned a little girl alive. I do appreciate her taking responsibility, but all the same I feel bad for the little brothers of Drogon. 26:13 It pisses me off to no end that all of them say the words "And now their watch is ended" but Janos Slynt-bitch does not repeat them. All my homies hate Janos! That scene between Jon and Tormund kills me every time. Tormund loved Ygritte like a sister(or daughter) and he demonstrated that despite them being enemies, Tormund still respected Jon and humbly asked that he send her off in The Real North. Yeaaah Jojen dying sucks... But The White Walkers anticipated someone finding The Three-Eyed Raven eventually and laid out a trap. You can tell the trap is old as hell based on how the wights are skeletons as opposed to fleshy zombies. Edit: Not sure if you noticed, but the "magic kid" threw a bomb at Jojen's body so he would not revive as a wight.

Poor Rhaegal and Viserion, having to pay for their big bro's more ferocious nature. As much as it's portrayed this way in the show, probably for convenience because otherwise the wights would pose a much bigger threat and there would be less action scenes with them, it is very much implied in the books that dragonglass does absolutely nothing to wights, unlike their masters. They are vulnerable to fire and, of course, being completely dismembered, but no supernatural material does them in.
