The Fold is LIVE + Foundry VTT Now Available!

You can now explore and download battlemaps directly through The Fold, our new online library. It’s available to all Patreon tiers — no setup needed. Once connected, your Patreon tier automatically unlocks the content you’re eligible for.

Foundry VTT Modules Are Live!

If you're in the Paper Wizard or Paper Hero tier, your Foundry VTT content is ready and waiting!

You also receive instant lifetime access to our Welcome Pack — a curated set of 15 fan-favorite battlemaps, fully prepped and ready to use.

Our Foundry modules come fully prepped with:

• Dynamic lighting

• Walls and elevation

• Visual effects

• Dynamic transparency for otherwise blocked views

• Background/Ambient soundscapes

• The Dynamic Fold – toggle visual layers, props, effects, and even full map variants with just a click!

A Few Notes:

• We’re still actively building out The Fold’s archive.

• Older battlemaps (pre-2023) and Item Cards are being added gradually over the coming months.

• New Foundry Content will be made available from October onwards (welcome pack is already out).

Important: About the New Tier Structure

We've received a few messages about tier pricing discrepancies, and you're absolutely right — something's off.

Here’s what’s going on:

• We’re currently transitioning from Euro-based billing to USD pricing.
  However, Patreon is still displaying € pricing for some tiers, which may appear inflated depending on your local currency.
  
  For example: Paper Knight is meant to be $2.99 USD, but right now it's showing as €2.99, which can appear as $4 or more depending on where you live.

• We’ve also just transitioned from a /per creation billing model to a /per month billing model.
  
  Previously, if you were on a $3 (USD) tier and we released 3 map packs in one month, you’d be charged $9 at the start of the next month. That’s no longer the case.
  
  Now, what you see is what you pay:
  

• Whatever the tier says on a per month basis (+VAT) is your fixed monthly price — regardless of how much content we release that month!

• Patreon’s backend doesn’t fully distinguish between per creation and per month models anymore.
  
  This means past per creation charges may be labeled as “per month” on your billing history, which can understandably be confusing. But rest assured: any previous charges were per creation, not per month.
  

We’re actively working with Patreon to resolve any deviations from our announced plans.
It’ll be fully corrected within 30 days.
