What's Next?
Once the new tiers go live, we’ll begin connecting The Fold with your new membership levels. Everything’s already set up — we’re just waiting on the tier switch to finalize the integration.
That means The Fold will be up and running for all patrons in the appropriate tiers in early August! Please ensure you’re in the right tier before then to enjoy the new system immediately.
About Tier Pricing in August...
Don't be alarmed — Patreon controls the pricing during tier migration and applies a multiplier (in our case, 3x) to your current per-creation pledge.
So yes, the August tier prices might look slightly off compared to what we intended.
But no worries — we’ll fix this on September 1st, once Patreon lets us manually update the pricing.
The “wrong” prices will only stick around for one month (August) and are close to our intended tier prices.

Hi Daarka. We understand the confusion and frustration. Could you please let me know what tier you were on previously, before our changes? We used to have (all /per creation): €1, €2, €3, €5, €10. If you were on $4, then I assume you were on €3/per creation. Could you confirm?

Both of your posts about them here say that the changes supposedly took effect in August, but I just got this email from Patreon: Your upcoming membership renewal on October 1, 2025 will be at the previous rate of $4.00/month, and renewals starting November 1, 2025 will be at the new rate of $9.35/month The prices, tier names, and even tier rewards are really inconsistent everywhere. I'm currently on the "Paper Wizard" tier for $4, but your post "Important Update: New Tiers & What You Need to Do" says there is no $4 tier, and the "Paper Wizard" tier is becoming $7.99. This post says that in August my charge will be 3x my current rate (so $12) but will get corrected in September. None of those numbers or posts explain why, in November, I'll be abruptly paying $9.35 unless I cancel. That price isn't affordable for me, but I don't understand if I need to take action to drop to the lower tier? Or if the changes you said would take place in August got delayed, since there was never any further word about them? If I'm going to be automatically forced to pay more than twice my current pledge, I'm going to have to cancel. I'd love to be able to support you at the higher rates, but I don't have that kind of budget, and it's really unclear what's happening or what action I should/shouldn't take.
