Our Magic Item Cards are objects in our world, usually accompanying the series we tackle that month. The item might help you visualize the world and its creations better: add items for effects on your players, add them to your treasure box for flavor, or use them as a quest item.

Giant Crab Lobster Roll

Consumable (Food) | Uncommon | Requires No Attunement
A thick, toasted roll stuffed with tender, spiced crab meat, with a massive claw still attached to the side. The claw pulses with latent magical energy, faintly twitching as if remembering its former life.
Hard Shelled. Upon eating this roll, you feel your skin redden and harden, and you gain Temporary Hit Points equal to 1d6 + your Constitution modifier for 1 hour.
Claw Strike. For the duration, you can use a Bonus Action to make an unarmed claw attack, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning damage (Strength or Dexterity-based). The claw crumbles into dust once the effect ends.

Spellbound Flail

Weapon (Flail) | Rare | Requires Attunement
A sleek, arcane flail with a magical striking head at its tip, which hums with raw power. When swung, the head briefly detaches and spins violently, ready to unleash stored energy upon impact.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Sorcerer’s Expertise. A Sorcerer is considered proficient with this weapon and deals force damage instead of bludgeoning damage when attacking with it.
Arcane Bomb. As an Action, you can launch a magical explosion at a point within 30 feet. All creatures in a 10-foot radius must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 force damage on a failure or half as much on a success. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.

Giant Clam Chowder

Consumable (Food) | Very Rare | Requires No Attunement
This rich, steaming chowder is served inside the enormous shell of a magically-infused giant clam. The iridescent interior of the shell glows faintly, and wisps of sea mist rise from the surface of the chowder. The thick broth carries the taste of the deep sea, imbuing you with its essence.
Gift of the Deep. Upon consuming this chowder, your skin turns pearlescent, and you gain the ability to breathe underwater for the next 1 hour.
Clamp. For the duration, you can use a Bonus Action to conjure a spectral giant clam and attempt to grasp a creature within 20 feet. The target must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw or take 2d6 bludgeoning damage and become Restrained until the end of your next turn.

Phoenix Emberbow

Weapon (Longbow) | Legendary | Requires Attunement
Crafted from the charred wood of an ancient phoenix’s perch, this bow requires no arrows. Its bowstring shimmers with flickering flame, conjuring bolts of searing fire when drawn.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Flaming Shot. Instead of arrows, this bow fires bolts of magical fire. Each attack deals 2d10 fire damage, and the attack does not consume ammunition. A flammable object hit by the bow’s bolt of fire ignites if it isn't being worn or carried.
Phoenix’s Rebirth. Once per day, when reduced to 0 hit points, you instead drop to 1 hit point and erupt in flames. Each hostile creature within 10 feet must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 fire damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. After this rebirth, the bow’s flames are fully expended, disabling Flaming Shot and Phoenix’s Rebirth until its magic is restored at dawn.
