There is no season 3 announced just yet, but there is a movie being made, and given that the series is pretty popular and done well financially I think it's safe to say another season will be greenlit at some point. But yea, in isekai (sent to another world) series it's very unusual to have the MC return to their own world, at least before the conclusion of the series. But then this series doesn't exactly follow the usual tropes of the genre.
