Bowser's pretty overpowered honestly, there was no way Eggman would win. I do find it kind of fun that both Bowser and Eggman have their own family now, like, the little scenes Nintendo has shared of Bowser just being a father to Bowser Jr are just cute, and Sage is honestly one of the best additions we've had to the Sonic franchise in a long time, she's a fantastic character in her own right, but the father and daughter relationship between her and Eggman just takes it to another level.

2024-11-26 22:25:05 +0000 UTCGlad you got to see this, the battle was animated by just one absolute madman, Moro (information on the official video). Pretty sure this is the best Deathbattle they've done (in terms of the quality of the fight). Felt more like Avengers Endgame rather than just a simple fight. I also like how they differentiated the two sides. Bowser fought on the front line and when Infinite was using a gravity attack on Bowser's army, he protected them until King Boo took out Infinite. Bowser also got enraged when his son was wounded and jumped in front of the Death Egg beam to save his army. Meanwhile Eggman hid in the back most of the time and let his robots do all the fighting. One of the jokes going around after this was: Eggman built his army to protect himself. Bowser built his army to protect them.
