Just listening to this one again after a while and I too remember loving the kind of futurism-surrealism-gothic horror imagery. Any chance C & C could actually write this as a full story one day? :)

I was a bit too young to have any contact with the ShowBiz Pizza Place--and my trashy laptop wouldn't load the YouTube page you guys linked in the shownotes--so the unsettling surreality of the readings were really compelling to me. I was very frustrated when I found out that this tale did not exist.
