2024-10-26 13:28:39 +0000 UTCBaki really is coming in as the son of Yujiro lately. Though it usually is followed by Baki coming Baki to being a decent fellow. By the way I suggest watching the Baki and Retsu conversation near the end in jap on your own time. The voice actor killed it.

These two fighting here plus the rivalry it forms actually made Jack top Oliva and Shibukawa as easily my favourite character. He has an actual backstory/motivation, actually develops as a fighter AND character through the show (rare here), and on top of it I'm completely biased Canadian who's dad left π
