Plans for the future

Hello everyone,

This is a post I’ll be sharing across my Discord, itch.io, and Patreon — everywhere — so it reaches as many people as possible.

As you probably know by now, itch.io has gone a bit off the rails and temporarily removed all NSFW games from their search listings. I’m hopeful that in a few days things will calm down and NSFW games will return.

However, what likely won’t return is Love’s Heart, which has been banned by itch.io. And since it’s not allowed on Steam either, continuing to work on the game — which is free — is no longer financially viable for me. I could only keep developing it if I had enough income to not worry about money and focus on less profitable projects. But considering that both Steam and itch.io have now tightened their policies, and more and more people are unsubscribing from my Patreon (probably due to the situation with Love’s Heart), it doesn’t seem like things will improve.

I tried posting a poll on my Patreon asking if you wanted me to remake Love’s Heart as a SFW game so it could at least be available on itch.io, and the majority voted no. That’s totally okay — thank you all for your honest opinions. It certainly wasn’t a great idea.

That said, this doesn’t mean I’m going to stop releasing games, updating my existing ones, or using Steam and itch.io. Like I said, I’m hopeful the situation with itch.io will stabilize soon. As for Steam, the main restriction seems to be against incest content — as long as I avoid that, things should be fine.

Right now, I’m finishing up the new update for United by Love’s Heart. Once it’s done, I’ll make a trailer for the game. Then I’ll publish it on Steam along with a free version — that way, Love’s Heart can live on through this project.

After that, I’ll begin working on Chapter 8 of Yuri Demon and several other projects.

First, I’m going to try publishing Lesbian Island on Steam to see if it gets accepted. If it does, I’ll keep developing it and releasing small but frequent updates — one day I’ll publish a new heart event with one girl, then another event, and so on. If Steam doesn’t accept the game, I’ll still continue working on it, since it’s a beloved title within my itch.io community. In any case, I’ll also upload it to my other itch.io account called Love’s Heart (though the name doesn’t make much sense anymore — I’ll see if I can change it).
Remember, my main itch.io account is still under an unfair quarantine status, and any updated game I publish there will be hidden from search results. Of course, I’ll continue updating all my games — but I’ll also keep a copy on the second account so they remain visible in the listings.

United Forever is on indefinite pause. It’s not a very popular game, and it includes incest, so it likely won’t be allowed on Steam.
As for Hentai no Sekai, I might try publishing it on Steam soon — I’ll keep you posted.

Project Yuri will most likely be accepted on Steam, so you’ll probably see it there eventually.

I’ll also continue working on Lesbian Tales whenever I can. I may not be able to include voice acting in the episodes as I originally wanted, but it will still be a solid yuri short story collection that will be available on both Steam and itch.io.

In addition to all of these, I’ve got even more projects coming. You see, my friend Doky, with whom I’ve also worked on several projects, is currently helping me learn Unreal Engine. So, soon enough, you’ll be seeing games made with UE from me as well! I’ll announce this news properly in a separate post with more info and screenshots — but just know that something very exciting is in the works.

On top of that, I’m also working on another game, and I’m close to finishing it — it’s being developed in RPG Maker. I haven’t talked about it until now, but I’ll be sharing more info very soon.

In summary: I have no intention of stopping game development, no matter how much itch.io tries to slow me down. I’ll keep updating my existing games and releasing new ones. So please, follow me on itch.io and Patreon, and join my Discord so you can stay up to date with all my announcements.
