Our Item Cards are objects you can find in our world, usually accompanying the series we tackle that month. This might help you visualize the world and its creations better: add items for effects on your players, simply add them to your treasure box for flavor or use them as a quest item.

We held a poll earlier this month in which we asked all of you guys to tell us what sort of Items you would like to see for The School of Sorcery II. We went with the highest vote there, which was Qyntius’s ‘Magic Wands’’ as a source of inspiration.

• Laughy Taffy

Wondrous Item  | Common | Requires No Attunement

The Laughy Taffy has been making its rounds in The School of Sorcery and is highly popular to the soon-to-be sorcerers. Take a bite from this sweet candy and forcibly laugh loudly for hours on end to the annoyance of everyone around you.

• Wand of Flames

Wand | Uncommon | Requires Attunement

Made of old oak and a phoenix's core, this 11" long wand has a clear affiliation with fire. It gives its wielder the ability to launch a plethora of fire spells and is given to students wanting to learn spells. Once enough charges have been used, the Wand of Flames goes up in flames... and turns to ashes.

• Wand of Waves

Wand | Uncommon | Requires Attunement

Made of old oak and a tojanida's shell, this 11" long wand has a clear affiliation with water. It gives its wielder the ability to launch a plethora of water spells and is given to students wanting to learn spells. Once enough charges have been used, the Wand of Waves ends up ashore... and turns to ordinary water droplets.

• Hat Of The Studious

Wondrous Item | Uncommon | Requires Attunement

The hat looks battered and old, but is worn by fresh and new sorcery students. Let's just call it vintage! The hat allows the wearer to read ancient scriptures and languages, perhaps aiding the students in getting straight A’s... or at least a B+.
