Shinrinyoku no Forest [Part 03] - Map Pack

Hello guys! We hope you’re ready to explore a spirited forest with the legendary samurai of Shinrinyoku No Forest in this Japan-inspired three-part map-series.

Here’s the third part together with another Loot Tavern supplied Item Card to aid you on your adventure!

“You reach the pinnacle of the hill, where a crimson shrine looms over you. It is clear to you that here must rest the legendary ancestors of this temple and the family of your friend. You lay his urn to rest in front of a displayed armor, together with the other tombstones and urns.

The sign’s text magically changes to an ominous “Trial of Spirits.”

Then, suddenly, the hollow armor starts to move. You notice an incredibly sharp katana in its gloves and from within the empty chambers of its helmet two spirited white eyes fiercely lit up. Out of nowhere the armor slashes at you with incredible speed! You manage to dodge the sudden attack, but are still cut on the side of your waist, spilling blood all over the scattered yellow leaves.

Surprised, you ready yourself. However, you can’t shake the feeling that something feels familiar. “Wait… Densetsu?” You are answered with another mighty slash which you only manage to parry partially. He truly was the prodigal descendant of legendary samurai, clearly overpowering you with every exchange. Drenched in tears and covered in blood, you understand and accept his trial of passing. “One last time, friend.””
