Our Item Cards are objects you can find in our world, usually accompanying the series we tackle that month. This might help you visualize the world and its creations better: add items for effects on your players, simply add them to your treasure box for flavor or use them as a quest item.

We held a poll earlier this month in which we asked all of you guys to tell us what sort of Item Cards you would like to see for Storm Realms of Giants. Thanks for the input, guys! The winning vote was for Jonah’s “Storm Stones”!

Lightningstrike: Lightning so incredibly condensed-- so incredibly powerful, that it is shaped towards the likeness of a sharp spear. One who can successfully wield or hurl this weapon, can cause major damage to any foe foolish enough to piss off the handler of this messenger of death. Be wary, however, not to electrocute yourself.
Lightning Crow: Ever wished for a fantastical, magical, and mechanical ‘thing’ on which people could converse and respond to people across the globe in a matter of seconds? What nonsense, we shouldn’t dream up such a far tale. However, at least with the calling of the Lightning Crow, sending speedy messages is all but fiction.
Storm of Stones: If arranged in a pattern, one can summon a raging storm. The storm will last for an hour and calls forth mighty lightning strikes from within its blackened clouds.

Gauntlet of the storm: This is an item used by those who wish to control the power of the storm. While equipped, the user can capture electric charges and, if so wishes, redirect its destructive force elsewhere. The magic crystal, Absorbine, is embedded in the gauntlet’s heart. With it, one can not only absorb an electric charge of large magnitudes, but also store its charge of power for later usage. While equipped, one-- or rather, the hand boasting it-- is resistant to electricity.
