Our Item Cards are objects you can find in our world, usually accompanying the series we tackle that month. This might help you visualize the world and its creations better: add items for effects on your players, simply add them to your treasure box for flavor or use them as a quest item.  

We held a poll earlier this month in which we asked all of you guys to tell us what sort of Item Cards you would like to see for Wintertide Stronghold. Thanks for the input, guys! The winning vote was for Phoebe’s “Ancient Glacial Hammer.” It's a weapon-filled month with two commanders showing off their icy-cold strengths. It's unsure who started this figurative and literate cold war of amassing weaponry, however, tension has heated up, leaving the snow to melt in an epic conclusion.

Without further ado, this month's exclusive Item Cards for all "The First Scouts", "Undaunted Pioneer" and “Grand Archivist” supporters, here to accompany you and your companions on your epic tales:

• Winterfrost Hammer: Made out of metal and weighing as much as an adult, this two-hander is embedded with powerful ice-magic. Wielded by Wayne, the Wintertide Stronghold Commander, this hammer has been the downfall of many orcs. Its impactful blows leave its victims frozen and immobile, right before being shattered to pieces by the next blow.
  
  
• Winterfrost Axe: Made out of metal and weighing as much as an adult, this two-hander is embedded with powerful ice-magic. Wielded by Lgune, the Orcsheer Stronghold Commander, this axe has caused the downfall of many from the alliance. Its deep-cutting cleave leaves its victims frozen and immobile, right before being shattered to pieces by the next swing.
  
  
• Winterstrung Bow: A bow made out of the bones of a dire wolf. Capable of withstanding the winter cold with ease, this bow is used by the Orcsheer Stronghold to fire fierce arrows onto and into their enemies. It is said that it requires more strength than a common bow, since it was designed to be usable even in a winter's blizzard.

[Grand Archivist]

• Flask of eternal freezing: Imagine an explosive mixture of ice and spells that just go KABOOM the moment it's thrown anywhere! Now add to that the essence of eternal freezing, an eternally blue snowdrop that only cultivates in Winterfrost's deadly cold temperatures. On impact, not only does the flask inflict massive damage, it also leaves an entire area ice-solid. Talk about a solid bomb!
