Overcast City [Part 02] - Map Pack

Hi guys! This time we’re exploring a dark and heartless city filled with outcasts and scum in three-part map series Overcast City.

Here’s the second part.

"As daytime falls and becomes blanketed by night, you notice the piercing moon glows brighter than any sun ever could. Its light illuminates a stone pathway leading you deeper into the belly of the city and you eventually stumble into the market square. There’s an eeriness hanging in the air that makes you wonder… “What happened here just days before my arrival?”

You sneak along quietly from rooftop to rooftop tracking the missing orphans. Peering down below, you notice small footprints… small enough for a child. And directly to the right, two larger ones. As you continue further, the growling and howling grow even louder while the footprints become fresher.

Just as you’re following the footprints, a howl, clear as day, bellows in the distance. Then another one echoes in response. And another. And yet another. You immediately feel a sense of urgency and your heart gets hit with adrenaline."

Then, strangely, the footprints end. You feel a burst of bloodlust and turn around instinctively, witnessing two hairy beasts staring you down, salivating at the sight of you as a snack.
