2024-06-22 15:10:34 +0000 UTCA great start for a show I almost didn't watch and now binge the hell out of the manhwa. But I must say it really strikes me as odd with what the anime is doing. Something big happens before the hunters become aware of the ants having wings. I dont think it will affect the story too much but it just feels off, like it was thrown in just because they wanted to B plot to have some big cliffhanger. In any case, I had a hypothesis as to why Jinwoo became this Shadow Monarch and his line about things being prearranged confirmed it. A job change class in gaming terms is just a new skill tree with a theme outside your base skills but you normally get multiple choices. Here he didn't get a choice. It seems to be that no matter what happened as he leveled he would have still become this Shadow Monarch. All this path he walked stuff was flavor text. Whoever is behind the system most likely couldn't give him anything else. And him becoming a necromancer first also seems like a flavor text thing. He only got 2 level 1 skills after all and they require one another to work. Maybe the system thinks he's into the spectacle?
