Truly one of the best shows of all time.

Even the brilliant (and awful) plan with of poisoning the kid couldn't get past Gus's defences. The only chink in the armor for Gus was his hate for Hector was so great, it blinded him from a possible angle of attack. It was only for a moment, but a moment was all Walt needed

2024-04-28 14:23:16 +0000 UTCAlso, I feel what Gus's downfall was he was too caught up in revenge and let his emotional side take control of his actions with Hector, because Gus is a smart man, he was able to figure out something was up with just tiny clues about the bomb on his car, or that something was off at least, yet something that smelt this fishy, about Hector going to the DEA, he didn't question that much compared to something like his car, I feel it was definitely his emotional side taking over his rational side
