On top of that, the irony(No pun intended) of him pinning her to that rock in the same way he once did to her on Magnolia's sacred tree. Only this time he's doing it to save her; not torment her. Man seeing the image of Gajeel and Levy with their kids alongside Lily and seeing someone as stoic as Lily just broken always gets to me. Brandish actually had August willing to sit at the table and negotiate, but Mest... As Piccolo said about Vegeta screwing up with Cell absorbing 18: "Oh no, God damn him!" He not only blundered his assassination attempt, but he succeeded in pissing August off and most likely made Brandish furious by making her try to kill someone she loves. "You Mest up." Shit, that's funny! I'm disappointed in myself for never thinking to make that pun lmao.
