You know, a lot of people (myself included) just chalked it up to the Founder Ymir experiencing Stockholm Syndrome with King Fritz. I mean, she was just a child when his army of barbarians conquered her people. So, it's not that surprising that she would grow up with the mentality that this is just the way the world, and by extension her life, was meant to be.

2024-04-11 19:01:11 +0000 UTCInteresting that Eren basically admits that even though he had the titan powers to get glimpses of the future and such, he just wasn't smart enough to find a solution that had a happy ending, so he chose to prioritize the people he cared about. And that afterwards, the world did pretty much end up back in conflict as a result of the rumbling being stopped. It is pretty realistic that in our world there often is no perfect solution to many problems.
