I'm posting here the letter they sent me. And because of this, I'm thinking on removing the tiers on my Patreon. They are making things more complicated, and if I only have one Basic Tier, this won't affect to any patron and it will be easier for everybody. I'll post a poll in a minute.
With this update, you’ll set post access by selecting tiers instead of dollar amount, so you can post exclusively to patrons in one tier, instead of that tier and everyone above it.
For example, you could set access to a post exclusively to your “$20 tier,” instead of “$20 and up.”

Important note: this update will affect future access to posts for your patrons who selected “no reward,” and for patrons who pledge more than the tier they originally selected (e.g., those that pay $15 for a $10 tier).
If these patrons want to continue seeing your posts according to the dollar amount they're paying, they simply need to update their settings to sign up for the tier they want to be in. Patrons can sign up for their desired tier by visiting: https://patreon.com/pledges
