Aside from a guest appearance in The Bad Batch, there is no connection to the rest of the universe. We already knew about the Pykes from Maul and their affiliation with Dooku. I guess the spice is connected to Book of Boba Fett. Should have done a Dark Disciple or Son of Dathomir adaptation.

So the Martez sisters were present during that whole senate hostage crisis ordeal during Season 3 (Season 1 chronologically)
