I expected we weren't done with Gus, and it seems he's an even bigger player in this world than I even imagined! He saved Walt's ass!

I WATCH BREAKING BAD AT NETFLIX: https://www.netflix.com/title/70143836

GUS WITH THE SAVE! - Breaking Bad 3x2

Comments

I couldn't wait so I binged the rest on Netflix and started Better call Saul lol. I watched BB before when there was a marathon running but only cause I was home sick for like a week so I didn't really watch it.

The story is just amazingly good!

Wow, that's pretty cool on the one-take!... And yea, it doesn't surprise me that dimwits would throw pizzas up there!

Well they don't really "work for" Gus. They were going after Walter to avenge Tuco, they are Salamancas who work for/are related to members of the cartel South of the border in Mexico. However, everything North of the border is Gus's territory, so if he says "no" then they have to listen because he calls the shots there. They originally had the go ahead to kill Walter, but unbeknownst to them Gus is actually working with Walter now. So it's more of a territory thing ("he's my worker") than the cousins branching off and doing their own thing behind anyone's back. It's South territory vs North territory.

Saul all around is best man. Jesse's house needs solved (+ some pay back) and saved Walter's life by wanting his wife watched while letting him know "Hey she's bluffing". Love this show, can't wait for the rest.

Redemption

So I was kinda right! Thanks

He texted them "Pollos" which translates to Chicken aka Chicken Man. So he was essentially telling them to come to where he is. Also, this was going on behind Gus' back so he obviously took it as disrespect on top of his wish to want Walter alive.

DevilJynx

ERB referenced it in the Wlater vs Rick Grimes rap battle as well.

Two Cartel hitmen with skulls on their boots using an ouijia board to plan a murder of Walter... Creepy as it was the first time I saw it. Jesse and Saul royally screwed over Jesse's parents. That was a brilliant play and while the intentions were shady, Saul had them in the palm of his hand since the legal system would be inclined to side with J & S! lmao. Skyler is losing with how stubborn she is being. Walt Jr does not trust her and the tighter she keeps her lips sealed the worse it looks on her. She should compromise here and there to not seem unreasonable and ease people's minds. And yep Gus outranks Mr. Bell man. Best part is Walt had no idea he was a few feet away from two men who were going to kill him.

DevilJynx

Ok I’m confused, did those two think about going into business for themselves and Gus told them not to?

Also fun fact, the pizza throw on the roof was a 1st try shot, I can't remember if this next part is fact or not, but I remember hearing that it didn't really matter of he got it on the roof or not as it was just gonna be 1 shot, and he just did a really good throw, also something a bit unfortunate, but the actual owner of the house had people constantly try to throw pizza on the roof which is kinda a dick move to me, cause someone actually lived there and to have to deal with that would suck

It's been about 8-9 years or so since I've seen this series so besides the big moments I don't remember much about it, but for some reason the intro to this episode has stuck with me, maybe it's because it's how I found out about the song "A horse with no name" and now have it on all my playlists, but it's the only one I can vividly remember
