It does carry a prison sentence. I agree with you on Walt doing that, such a stupid thing to do. At least he realized it before it was too late. Walt saying "Half a million" threw Hank way off. He did not know how to react to that answer lol Walt did what I sometimes do and that's ramble and talk myself into a corner. He was doing all right at first, but that speech crashed about as hard as those planes did. Yes, I went there. Mind you that was more of him talking to himself than a room full of kids and teachers. He was even trying to downplay the tragedy in his own mind to comfort himself. You're spot on; he's lost touch with reality.
