Onderon's history is WACK. It's true king dates his lineage 4000 years back to the rule of a Sith lord named Freeda Nad, whose spirit would corrupt the Jedi known as Exar Kun to the darkside where he'd become one of the greatest sith lords ever, never once defeated in lightsaber combat. That's just scratching the surface of Onderon.
