I think I would not have disliked Edolas Natsu as much if he wasn't so smug meeting his Earthland counterpart and talking down to him for his motion sickness. He was made to look like an ass for introducing himself that way. The citizens are oblivious to what The King did, they just hear "we're getting more magic! Yay" He omits the means of which he acquires said magic.
