Part One

“Hey, babe,” Tommy said as he entered the kitchen. “Any luck today?” He asked as he leaned in and kissed his boyfriend on the cheek.

No…” Caleb groaned.

“Don't worry, you'll find something,” Tommy assured as he straightened up.

When?” Caleb groaned again. “I graduated three months ago, and still nothing!

“The right job will come along. It did for me.”

 “I know. Asshole…

Hey!” Tommy chuckled.

I'm sorry…” Caleb sighed. “I just hate sitting around doing nothing,” he shook his head. “And not earning money…

“We're doing alright.”

“Yeah, thanks to you! I don't like mooching!”

 “You're not mooching, Caleb.”

“I feel like I am!” The twenty-one year old sighed again. “Maybe I should look for a part-time job?”

“If you want something to do, go ‘head,” Tommy nodded as he reached into the fridge for a beer. “But don't feel like you have to get one.”

“But I do,” Caleb said as he opened up a new search tab on his browser and started a separate part-time search, unrelated to his full-time queries.

Hmm…”

“What?”

“First thing that came up was babysitting,” he replied.

“Babysitting?” Tommy repeated as he came and sat down across from him.

“Beggars can't be choosers, Tommy.”

“You're not a beggar either. Far from it. But babysitting might be good actually.”

 “Whaddaya mean?”

“I mean if something full-time becomes available, you can just stop whenever,” Tommy shrugged.

“That's true,” Caleb nodded. “But I haven't babysat in years,” he frowned.

“Neither have I, but I doubt much has changed.”

“And I am still CPR and first-aid certified from working as a lifeguard,” he remembered.

“That's a plus.”

 “Should I apply?”

 “Do you want to?”

“Not really,” Caleb sighed again. “But I do wanna do something, and babysitting's a pretty easy gig. The pay's probably gonna suck though,” he frowned again as he picked on the link anyway.

He was taken to a private website that was surprisingly professional for a babysitting gig.

Babysitter” Wanted

It was titled.

PLEASE SEE BELOW

URGENTLY needing to hire a babysitter in the Northern Virginia area. Must commit to nine months of employment and be willing to sign a contract.

Next, Caleb thought with a groan.

“What's wrong?” Tommy asked.

“They want a nine month commitment.”

 “That's kinda odd.”

“Next…” Caleb said aloud as he went to back out of the page, but then he read the next line.

Pay is $5,000 per month.

Holy shit!

That was more than Tommy made at his recently acquired corporate gig.

5K a month, babe!” Caleb grinned at his boyfriend. “For babysitting!

“That's a lot,” Tommy nodded. “But the commitment…

Yeah…” Caleb sighed again as he continued to read. “Wait! It says I can work another job so long as it's remote!

 “Really?

“Yeah!” He nodded. “Oh shit… The deadline to apply is five o'clock!”

“It's 4:15,” Tommy said, checking the time.

“Should I do it?”

“You're just applying… It doesn't mean you'll get the job.”

Caleb grunted. “Don't I know it!

 “Sorry,” his boyfriend winced. “I…

Why would they pay so much?” He asked. “Shit, what if they have ten kids or something?

“No one has that many kids anymore,” Tommy shook his head. “They're probably just desperate for help, that or who knows? 5K could be the going rate now?” He shrugged.

“They're probably rich,” Caleb reasoned aloud as he continued to skim the page.

There were several more mentions of the “contract” and something about a “waiver.” The twenty-one year old considered both odd for such a simple position, but then again, people got funny (and serious) when it came to kids.

“I'm applying,” Caleb said aloud as he clicked on the link to do so, ignoring the rest of the fine print on the screen, ‘cause who reads that shit anyway?

He was taken to another page, this one containing a questionnaire.

Do you have any prior experience “babysitting?”

Caleb checked yes.

If so, how many years?

Caleb thought about it for a second. He'd been babysitting here and there ever since he'd been thirteen. Deciding to play it safe, he typed “3 years” in the box.

Are you currently pregnant or do you plan on becoming pregnant within the next nine months?

Um, a little invasive, he thought as he checked no.

Are you willing to work on an “on-call” basis during the duration of your contract? If yes, you will receive a bonus of $15,000 at the end of the agreement.

Hell yes!” Caleb said aloud as he checked yes.

Hell yes, what?” Tommy asked.

“I get a bonus if I’m willing to work on-call.”

For nine months?

“I guess?” Caleb shrugged.

How much is the bonus?

Enough!” He grinned as he moved onto the next question. “Oh, by the way, you can’t knock me up while I’m working for them…

Um, OK…” Tommy replied with a weird laugh. “I wasn’t planning on that, but good to know I guess. Though isn’t a little weird for someone to make a stipulation like…

“It is, but the money, babe! The money!”

A few minutes later, Caleb had completed the questionnaire. There were a few more details he needed to share, after which, he submitted his application, sat back in his chair and sighed.

“That was… weird,” he finally said.

The money, babe…” Tommy reminded with a laugh.

Caleb sighed. “I probably won’t even get it. Weird as that questionnaire was, I’m sure other people applied and they probably have more experience than me.”

“You never know.”

“What I do know is I could use a beer,” he said as he stood and went to the fridge. “Want another?” He asked Tommy as he ducked inside.

“Sure.”

“Whaddaya wanna watch tonight?” He asked as he handed over the bottle.

“It’s your turn to pick,” Tommy replied. “It’s also your turn to cook!” He added with a wink.

Caleb groaned. “Again..?

“Yes.”

“Can we, and by we, I mean you, order out? Please?” He requested with his best puppy dog eyes.

Do I get to choose?

“Sure!” Caleb nodded.

Fine,” Tommy relented. “But we're having Thai.”

His boyfriend groaned. “But we had Thai two days ago!”

He nodded. “Yeah, the last time you begged out of cooking!”

Fine…” Caleb grumbled.

Having Thai again was still better than cooking, and again, beggars can’t be choosers.

If Caleb got this babysitting gig, he wouldn’t be a beggar anymore. He’d really be far from it. He could order whatever he wanted for dinner, whenever he wanted to. Sure, he’d take Tommy into account, but only so much considering he’d be using his money. No more mooching.

Before that happened, the twenty-nine year old actually had to land the gig. Figuring he wouldn't hear anything till at least the next day, Caleb pulled his phone out, pulled up the website for he and Tommy's favorite Thai place, and figured out what he wanted to get from there this time.

*****

“That must be the food,” Caleb said forty-five minutes later when his phone rang. “Why can they never find our apartment?” He asked as he shook his head. “826 is right between 824 and 828. It's pretty fuckin’ simple!”

“Hi. Come out of the elevator, go right and…”

Excuse me?” Asked what sounded to be a middle-aged woman, who spoke perfect English.

Not that such a woman couldn't be a delivery driver, but it was not who Caleb had been expecting. “Who is this?” He asked.

“My name is Melanie Reed. Is this Caleb?”

 “It is…

“I'm calling about your babysitting application.”

 “Oh! Sorry, I…

‘I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time?”

“No, we're just waiting on our food. I thought you were the…”

We're?

Um, yeah…” Caleb said. “My boyfriend and I.”

“I see,” Melanie said, hesitating slightly before suddenly continuing. “Anyway, Caleb. My husband, Daniel and I went over your application, and you sound like the perfect candidate.”

“Oh, wow! That's…

“I take it you're interested, seeing as you elected to complete the contract online.”

“Yes, I'm interested,” Caleb confirmed. “I…”

Please tell me you're available tonight?” Melanie asked, suddenly sounding almost desperate.

Oh! Um…” Caleb turned to look at Tommy, who was watching him. “Tonight? I, uh…

“I promise it won't take long. Daniel and I just want to quickly go over a few more things with you, then you can go back to your plans.”

“OK… Yeah, I guess I can swing…”

“Great!” Melanie cut him off again. “I'll text you our address. See you in twenty?”

“Twenty minutes?” Caleb repeated. “Yeah, I'll try to get there as…”

The call ended. Melanie had hung up on him.

OK, then…” he sighed as he stood.

“What was all that?” Tommy asked.

“My new boss,” Caleb replied. “I have to go meet her and her husband to go over some stuff.”

 “Right now?” Tommy frowned.

He nodded. “She said it won't take long,” he said as he headed to grab his keys.

“You're going dressed like that?” Tommy called after him.

“What's wrong with how I'm dressed?” Caleb asked over his shoulder as he looked down at himself.

He had on a tight black tank top, a pair of gray running shorts and some slides. He looked like just about any other twenty-one year old.

“You're meeting your new boss,” Tommy pointed out.

“It's not a real job, Tommy…” Caleb rolled his eyes.

OK…

“She hung up on me! I doubt she cares how i dress!” He said as he hurried toward the door. “I'll try not to be, ooh!” He said in surprise when he opened the door to find the delivery driver standing there about to knock.

The Thai delivery driver he'd been expecting, who spoke in the accent he'd been expecting as well.

Babe!” Caleb called. “Come grab the…

“I'm right here,” Tommy said, suddenly from behind.

“Thanks,” Caleb sighed as he handed him the bag. “I'll be back as soon as I can.”

“Good luck!” Tommy called after him.

*****

As it turned out, Melanie and… Daniel, that was his name, lived less than fifteen minutes away. That being said, Caleb didn't frequent their part of town, nor had he even been inside their gated community of modern yet stately, veritable mansions.

Must be nice, the twenty-one year old thought to himself. At least it's safe to say they're good for the money! But shit… Their kids must be spoiled rotten! Oh well, I'll manage.

Caleb parked his thirteen year old Honda Civic sedan behind a brand new, fully loaded Range Rover. His car looked like a literal shit parked behind such a big, beautiful vehicle.

Someday, he told himself, eyeing the blacked out Range as he walked towards the double front doors. Someday, I'll have a car like that. Someday after I finally get my first real job, but this'll  do for now.

Caleb rang the doorbell and then stepped back. Just a few seconds later, the left door swung inward, so quickly, it was as if the woman he assumed was Melanie, had been standing right behind it, awaiting his arrival.

Melanie was pretty. Caleb hadn't mastered the art of guessing ages, but to the best of his ability, he pegged her to be in her early thirties. She had long, thick and wavy, perfectly messy, medium brown hair and was of average height, but Melanie's height was pretty much the only thing average about her…

Not only was she very pretty, she was also, very, very pregnant. Caleb didn't know a whole lot about pregnancy, especially as it related to females, but from what little he did know, he knew Melanie was about to pop, with more than one baby by the looks of it!

Caleb's new boss had on black yoga pants and a sports bra. That's it.  As a result, her entire, massive pregnancy was all out in the open. If Melanie was dressed like this the first time meeting him, he had nothing to worry about wearing what he had on. Ha ha, Tommy!

The twenty-one year old finally stopped staring when he noticed several suitcases and other bags in the large foyer. Melanie cleared her throat, drawing Caleb's attention again as she looked him up and down.

You have three years experience?” She asked.

I'm… sorry?

Babysitting…

At least,” Caleb nodded. “I…”

Wow!” Melanie cut him off, yet again. “You must've started young!

“I guess you could say that,” he nodded again. “I…”

“I'd never believe it looking at you, but anyway…” Melanie said as she carefully stepped back. “Come in, come in,” she waved. “Sorry about the mess,” she apologized as Caleb entered and she closed the door behind him. “Daniel and I are just finishing up packing.”

“You're fine,” Caleb said. “Your house is amazing,” he complimented as he looked around. “I…”

“We'll do this in the living room if that's alright with you,” Melanie said as she started waddling off to the left.

Caleb had no idea what “this” was? He assumed it was  to know one another, so the living room sounded fine.

“I…”

“Sit wherever you'd like,” Melanie said.

She interrupted like it was her job. Oh well… Caleb would just have to learn to deal.

He selected an armless chair. Melanie selected the couch and let out a big, loud sigh as she rather gracelessly plopped down onto it.

Ahhh…” she exhaled. “Thank you so much for being available on such short notice,” she smiled at him as she placed her hands atop her belly, in front of her giant tits. “You're a lifesaver!”

“Happy to help,” Caleb smiled back.

“I'm sorry… I just… I…”

Yes?” He asked, smile fading some.

“Because of how quickly this is happening, I haven't gotten to check any of your references.”

“Well if it makes you feel any better, I actually didn't provide any, only ‘cause the application didn't ask for them, but I can if you…

But you have three years experience, correct?

 Caleb nodded. “At…

“Good, because Daniel and I wouldn't dream of hiring someone without experience,” Melanie shook her head. “It's not going to be easy,” she shook her head some more.

“I'm sure I'll manage just fine.”

“I think so too,” Melanie switched to nodding. “Even though, no offense, but I just assumed we were going to end up hiring a girl?” She shrugged, making her barely contained breasts jiggle.

“Yeah, a lot of babysitters are female, but…”

Anyway, I'm sure you're wondering about the short notice… We're not crazy or anything, well, aside from crazy about travel!” She grinned. “Daniel and I love to get away whenever we can, but not wherever… We're a little picky in that regard!” She laughed. “Anyway…

Melanie talked a mile a minute. Caleb honestly struggled to keep up.

“Daniel and I have been wanting to backpack through Nepal for years now. We've both trained and dreamt of climbing Mt. Everest and wouldn't you know, two slots finally opened up! Now of all times!” She rolled her eyes. “So obviously, we snagged them! It's not going to be quick, easy or cheap to get there on such short notice, but we'll do what it takes!”

You're climbing Mt. Everest?” Caleb asked.

Melanie nodded.

When?”

“A week from today!” She practically squealed. “I'm so excited!” She grinned as she rubbed her belly.

As she did, a baby visibly kicked. Like Caleb saw the outline of its freakin’ foot!

Oof! Settle down, guys!” Melanie winced.

Guys?

“Three boys,” she nodded. “I know I look super far along, but I'm only six months, can you believe it?!” She laughed and shook her head. “Daniel always said he was gonna get me good, and he did!” She laughed some more. “Anyway, obviously I can't climb like this, but since we couldn't pass up on the opportunity, that's where you come in!”

Me?” Caleb said.

What the hell was she talking about?!

You're funny!” Melanie laughed. “Being all coy!” She shook her head as she raised her left wrist and checked the time on her watch. “Ooh, shoot… We have to be at the airport in an hour. The car should be here any minute so I don't mean to be rude, but we really do need to get started,” she nodded as she struggled to shift her awkward mass forward.

I'm sorry, I…

“Is something wrong with the pay?” She asked as she finally got herself leaned forward enough to grab something off the coffee table. “Oof!” She grunted again. “This is Daniel and I's first batch, so we've never done something like this. If you want more, just…”

This time, it was Caleb who did the interrupting. “No, the pay is fine,” he nodded. “I just think there's some…” he trailed off. “Wait a sec…

Yeah?

“The babies… the triplets you're pregnant with now…”

Uh huh?

“They're your first kids?” Caleb asked. “Meaning you don't have any others?

First ones!” Melanie confirmed with an annoyingly and weirdly bright giggle as she raised what she was now holding and wagged it about in front of her.

It looked like some sci-fi gadget Caleb had seen on Star Trek growing up. The original Star Trek…

“What is…”

“I know it looks old school, but I assure you, it's the newest model and totally state of the art,” Melanie said. “I'm taking it this is your first time seeing it?”

 “Um…

“We were told we might get a reaction like that!” She laughed, before suddenly saying “Catch!” as she tossed the whatever it was over the coffee table to Caleb, who naturally caught it.

“I…”

“Hold it against your belly, please.”

I…

Right! You don't have one yet, which is… just incredible!” She shook her head. “You must be really good! Or just young…” she sighed.

“Melanie, I…”

Caleb, please!” She begged. “Now I've already programmed it to do what it needs once you have it in place. “I really wanted Daniel to be here for this, but…” she sighed as she glanced over at the staircase. “He takes forever to pack!” She groaned. “Anyway, just raise your shirt…” she nodded.

Even though he still had no idea what was going on, Caleb complied.

“And place the flat side against your… ohmygod!” She exclaimed. “You actually still have abs!

“I'm twenty-one!”

Right, I just…

Melanie…” Caleb tried again. “Mrs. Reed, I…

Against the abs, Caleb! Please!

“Fine, whatever…” the twenty-one year old groaned as he placed the flat side of the device against his abs, the center of them, covering his belly button.

Thank you!

“Could you please tell me what the…”

“It should happen any second now…”

What should happen any second no…” Caleb started to ask in a shout but then the device emitted a strange whirring noise, causing him to trail off.

It also emitted a bright yellow flash. As soon as it did, Caleb felt weird. Really weird… Low in his pelvis, he felt warmth. Something was happening inside him, but what, he had no clue?

Melanie! I…” the freaked out twenty-one year old tried again before once more trailing off as all of a sudden…

He felt a growing pressure in his womb. Caleb had never “felt” his womb before, but somehow he knew that's what he was feeling now. The pressure rapidly continued to mount.

It started low, down between his legs, right above his dick, but quickly expanded higher and higher. It felt to Caleb like his never before “used” uterus was suddenly being occupied, because it was!

A belly he'd never had suddenly started to form and grow. Caleb stared down in shock and horror at it as it rapidly continued to expand, further up and out till he started to look like he was pregnant?!

What in the fuck was going on?!

His tight to begin with tank top began to lose the battle. It started to slide up his growing belly as it became too big and round to be contained by the fabric.

Oh, shoot!” Melanie said, sounding rather breathless. “I probably should've let you change before, huh? Sorry!” She giggled. “First-timer here!

Caleb groaned loudly as he felt the skin covering his now previously toned midsection tighten a great deal. He groaned again when he felt pressure against the underside of his belly button. He audibly gulped as he watched the protrusion suddenly popped way out, caving to whatever was now pushing out against it from within him.

Caleb's very newly acquired belly continued to grow and grow and grow, with no sign of stopping, but then all of a sudden, it did. When it did, he felt as full as a tick, and looked pregnant. Almost as pregnant as Melanie quite recently had…

What the fuuuuuck?!” He groaned in pained disbelief as the device he was still holding against his midsection beeped.

Oh no… Are you serious?” Melanie asked.

Caleb looked up from his belly and opened his mouth, with every intent of telling her yes, he was fucking serious, but before he could, his eyes landed on Melanie's belly, or rather, lack thereof.

Melanie no longer looked outrageously pregnant. He did!

“They told me it wouldn't be bad for you!” Melanie said. “They told me you'd enjoy it compared to the old way!” She nodded. “Did they lie? If they did, I…

Caleb opened his mouth to try and speak again, but once more, before he could, something still happening inside him, prevented him from being able to do so.

All of a sudden, he felt something heavy shift within him. He felt pressure building up again as his midsection continued to stretch even further…

Caleb felt incredibly full. Weight and pressure pushed down against his loins, and up and out against his ribcage. The skin straining to now cover his belly ached and burned as the device he was still pressing against it, suddenly hired back to life, apparently not done yet.

By then, Caleb's tank top had been reduced to little more than a crop. The black fabric formerly covering his midsection had bunched up beneath his muscular pecs. Eyes open so wide it hurt, Caleb looked from his pregnant belly back to Melanie, Mrs. Reed, for some sort of fill in as to what the fuck had just happened to him/them?!

It was evident the twenty-one year old's new boss didn't share any of his concerns. Melanie no longer looked pregnant, she looked pleased as punch. She also no longer looked as strained as Caleb belatedly realized she had been. Lucky her.

A few seconds later, the device stopped whirring. As soon as it did, Caleb assessed Melanie again and realized she looked like she'd never been so pregnant, aside from her breasts, which remained big and engorged as ever. As she looked down at herself, Melanie grinned in delight.

The twenty-one year old looked down at his now huge belly again and thought for sure he was going to hurl.

What the fuck had just happened?! How had it even been possible?!

Caleb's head started to hurt as much as his belly did.

You look…” Melanie started to say but then stopped as she looked at herself again. “Ohmygod! I look amazing!” She squealed. “Thank you so much, Caleb! You're a total lifesaver!” She clapped.

No…” Caleb shook his head as he continued to stare at himself. “I look… This… I… You… Babysitting! I'm supposed to be… be…

What's wrong?” Melanie laughed. “You're fine, right?

 “I…

“A young, strong guy like you was made to be that pregnant!” She nodded at Caleb before somewhat shakily getting to her feet. “Ohmygod! You have no idea what a relief it is to no longer be carrying those three around!” She exhaled.

Caleb didn't know what to do or say? He was speechless. Completely and utterly.

He did not understand how or why he could suddenly be pregnant?! This pregnant, with Melanie's triplets?!

All of a sudden, it hit Caleb. All of a sudden, even though he was still looking at his belly, he stopped seeing it and saw the title of the job ad… “Babysitter” Wanted, “babysitter” having specifically been in quotation marks.

He hadn't agreed to be or gotten hired as a “regular” babysitter, he'd unintentionally agreed to work for the Reeds as a different kind of babysitter. The kind that “watched” their babies, while mommy needed some time off. A surrogate of sorts.

Caleb had heard of such before, but almost didn't believe it was true. He didn't understand the science or technology behind a so-called pregnancy-transfer, let alone why anyone would want to have someone else's children temporarily transferred into them?

The money, he remembered. Now, the pay the twenty-one year old had agreed to made a hell of a lot more sense. And now, there was no going back as he'd already electronically signed a contract, sealing his fate.

Caleb really wished he'd read the damn fine print. Fuck! Fuck, fuck, fuck!

*****

“This is so much better!” Melanie sighed as she ran her hands up and down her once again trim middle. “Climbing's gonna be interesting with these!” She giggled as she pointed at her boobs. “But possible! Though I will probably have to get some new tops and…

She rambled on and on about the new clothes she was going to have to buy for the excursion and how it was going to cost an arm and a leg, but “Oh well!” She giggled again.

Caleb wasn't listening. He was still trying to process what'd happened and the fact he was now pregnant with triplets. Tentatively, he set the device down and placed his hands on his severely swollen middle.

The belly, his belly now, looked smaller than it had when it'd belonged to Melanie, but it was still big. Way too big for Caleb's liking, but what could he do about it now?

He was still in shock when he felt something else inside him: movement. It started off light, like a little flutter, but it quickly grew stronger. All of a sudden, one of the three boys he was now carrying kicked, the outline of its foot briefly visible against the surface of his skin.

Caleb winced and gasped, feeling like he was going to be sick again. He looked from his belly to Melanie for… something, but suddenly, she wasn't in the room anymore.

Mel…” he started to say. “Mrs. Reed?

“In the kitchen!” She called. “I'll be right back!

I, um… I'm sorry,” Caleb said. “But somehow, there's been a HUGE…

Oh, damn…” a deep voice said.

Caleb turned to the right and saw a very tall, very muscular, and very attractive man now standing in the living room, looking at him. Looking at his belly…

“Looks like I missed the show,” he chuckled as he approached. “Daniel Reed,” he introduced himself as he held out his right hand.

“Caleb…”

“Thanks for doing this, Caleb,” Daniel cut in.

Damn, these Reeds liked to interrupt!

“How'd it go? Better than in the past?”

 “Oh, um… I…

“We, I mean I paid a lot for that thing, so I hope it was worth it.”

For inexplicable reasons, Caleb nodded as he forced himself to smile. He wasn't sure if he succeeded in the latter.

“Good, good,” Daniel nodded as he continued to stare at his belly. He soon realized what he was doing and apologized. “Sorry… It's just that Mel didn't tell me she hired a guy.”

“Yeah, um… I know a lot of babysitters are…”

“It's fine,” he waved dismissively. “Just a surprise. You're probably a better choice anyway.”

Yeah…” Caleb laughed as he rolled his eyes and shook his head.  “I'm not too sure about that. I really need to talk to you guys about…”

“You're the first babysitter we've hired, so the process is new to us,” Daniel went on. “Because of what I do, I know a lot about pregnancy and I think Melanie was onto something when she picked you, a guy,” he nodded. “Yes, women were designed to be pregnant, but now that guys can, I couldn't think of anyone better suited to carry six babies than a strapping young lad such as yourself!” He concluded with a smirk and a wink.

A sexy smirk and a wink. So much so that they dazzled the twenty-one year old for a few seconds before his brain finally caught up and registered a keyword Daniel had just said. A number, to be specific.

Six. He'd said that a “strapping young lad” like Caleb, was “suited” to carry six babies.

That had to be a mistake. One of two Caleb had now realized…

First, he was only carrying triplets (thank fucking God!) and second, seeing as Melanie was already six months along, he wouldn't be working for the Reeds for the next nine months, just the next three, give or take, right?

Wrong. So far, the only mistake that'd been made, was Caleb hastily signing such a binding contract without having thoroughly read it or fully understanding its implications and requirements.

Sorry!” Melanie apologized as she hurried back into the living room. “I almost forgot! Pregnancy brain!” She giggled.

“You're not gonna be able to blame pregnancy brain anymore, babe,” Daniel smiled as he went over to her and wrapped his big right arm around her shoulders.

Melanie had some height on her for a female, but he still towered over her. Even in his frazzled, suddenly fecund state, as Caleb stared at his employers, he couldn't deny they made a very attractive couple. He also suddenly realized why Melanie's, now his belly was already so big, when the three boys packed inside it had another three months of growing and developing left to go.

Once again, the twenty-one year old belatedly noticed something… He noticed that big breasted, but flat stomached, Melanie, was holding something. The something she must've forgotten…

It looked like a stainless steel thermos, but more medical in nature. Immediately, Caleb didn't like the look of it.

W-what is that?” He asked.

Melanie giggled again. “This…” she said, raising the “thermos,” “Is what we really need to talk about,” she said as she gave it a gentle shake.

Don't do that, babe!” Daniel immediately scolded.

Sorry…

It has something to do with the pregnancy?” Caleb asked.

“It does,” Melanie confirmed. “Long story short, Daniel and I had some issues conceiving,” she explained. “So a couple years ago, I had some eggs harvested and we had them fertilized, then frozen while we waited for a good time for me to get pregnant. Just when that time came, I finally ended up getting pregnant naturally!” She grinned.

Congratulations…” Caleb said slowly.

Thanks! Anyway… Daniel and I got to talking and we decided, why not just have all our kids at once?” She shrugged. “We thought it would be so nice and cute if they were all the same age!” She nodded. “Hopefully, you agree?” She asked Caleb, who frowned.

Sorry, you lost me…

“How many babies have you babysat at once?” Melanie asked.

Caleb thought about it, it being the wrong kind of babysitting, but before he realized that, he was already responding, “Well, there was this one time I babysat ten while…”

Oh, wow!” Melanie interrupted, but of course, she did. “Ten?! You really are experienced! Then three more won't be an issue, right?

Hold on a sec!” Caleb suddenly shouted as he took his right hand from his belly and held it up. “I…

Daniel turned and looked down at his wife. “I told you, you should've included the specifics in the ad!” He sighed before turning back to Caleb and looking him in the face this time. “I'm sorry, but we'll pay for the difference.”

The difference?” The twenty-one year old repeated.

Double! We'll pay double!” Melanie chimed in. “Is that good enough?!” She asked Caleb earnestly. “

Caleb should've said no. He really should've, but all he could focus on was making double what he was going to. Everything else didn't matter, when it really, really should've.

Double… I, uh…

Aww, hell…” Daniel cut in. “We'll make it triple, how does that sound?

Triple sounded good. Really, really good. Caleb immediately nodded his consent.

Oh, yay!” Melanie beamed. “Thank you!”

“Yeah, sure,” Caleb nodded back. “So I just realized… the contract said nine months, but if you were already six months along, then shouldn't it've…

“No, nine months is right,” Melanie said as she started fiddling with the top of the thermos.

But…

“Grab that thing again, will you?” She requested. “You don't need to hold it against your belly now though,” she shook her head. “It's already got a good lock on you,” she said as she started fiddling around with her own device.

Once again, Caleb acted before he thought about the consequences. He grabbed his device again and held it in his left hand as he opened his mouth to try to protest (or something,) but before he could, the thing had whirred back to life.

Not even a full second later, he felt another strange sensation in his womb. It was different than the last time, and fortunately, less uncomfortable, but at the very same time, aside from the money it was going to earn him, Caleb knew the results wouldn't be good for him.

There!” Melanie said a few seconds later. “All done! Yay!

I…

You, young man, are now pregnant with our six babies!” She squealed. “Thank you!

“Explain the stasis, babe,” Daniel nodded at her.

Oh, right!

“The stasis?” Caleb echoed. “What? I…

“When I added the second set of triplets, all girls, by the way!” Melanie beamed. “The boys were put into stasis, meaning they won't grow any more till the girls have caught up with them. That way, they'll all be ready at the same time!”

W-what? I…

“That's why you will be working the full nine months,” Daniel nodded.

Or more!” Melanie said.

More?!

“That's what I meant when I put the ‘on-call’ clause into the contract,” she said. “Just in case we're not around at the time, but don't worry….” she assured with a serious shake of her head. “I'll be giving birth to all six myself.”

Once again, Caleb unfortunately found himself dumbstruck. He simply couldn't believe or comprehend the words reaching his ears. He was just about to finally form a sentence, but then his belly, which somehow hadn't grown any more following the addition of three more babies, suddenly rippled, as at least two of the boys started kicking up a storm, trying to further acclimate themselves to their new home.

Mmmpppph…” he groaned. “They don't… Don't feel like they're in… stasis!”

Melanie laughed again. “First stasis babysitting?

 “Um…

“They're still going to move, silly… They'll continue to move, eat, all of that,” she nodded. “The boys just won't grow anymore for the next six months, till their sisters catch up!”

Caleb stared at her. Then he looked down at his belly, which now apparently contained two sets of triplets, for a grand total of six babies, and gulped.

What the fuck had he just agreed to? Had he really? Was this a dream?! Oh, please… Let this be a…

A baby, one of the boys, kicked him right below his left ribs, confirming this wasn't a dream. It was reality.

Daniel suddenly checked his watch. “Babe, we gotta go… The car's out front.”

Oh, OK!” Melanie nodded. “Go load the bags.”

Daniel nodded before turning to Caleb again. “Thanks for doing this. We really appreciate it.”

“I, um… I… We REALLY, REALLY need to talk about…

“Mel or I will email you on the plane and finalize any arrangements we haven't already,” Daniel said as he started heading for the foyer. “We're gonna need your routing and account numbers to send you your payments electronically, and one other thing…”

Yeah?” Caleb hesitantly asked.

“Is that your… car behind the Range?”

Yeah…

How old is that thing?

 “It's…”

Is it an Accord?

 “It's a Civic.”

Ooof!” Daniel grunted as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his keys, which he fiddled around with for the next few seconds. “Here,” he said as he tossed over a fob and another key, which Caleb thankfully caught. “Key to the Range and to the house. Use both when you want.”

Oh, but, um…

Please… At least drive the Range!” Melanie nodded as she hurried out to the foyer after her husband. “I'd feel so much better knowing you and the babies all had a safe and reliable form of transportation and you and your husband…”

Boyfriend,” Caleb corrected.

“Boyfriend,” she echoed. “Come here whenever you want. Please!” She nodded over her shoulder. “Oh, one more thing! Where's my bag?

 “Right here, babe,” Daniel said.

“Thanks! OK, here…” Melanie said as she dug around in one of her Birkins, which cost more than Caleb's apparently unreliable and unsafe Civic. “Ahh, here we go!” She smiled as she turned and hurried back into the living room. “Take it!” She nodded as she handed Caleb an envelope.

What's this?” He asked as he took it.

“A check for five-thousand dollars. Consider it an unmentioned bonus for being so timely and accommodating.”

 “Oh, wow! I, um…

“My doctor's card is inside too,” Melanie nodded as she hurried back to the foyer and started grabbing bags along with Daniel and the driver, who'd come in to help out. “Call and set up an appointment, OK?”

 “Yeah, I…”

“Just close the door behind you when you leave, I'll lock it electronically before we board. Thank you again, Caleb!” She smiled and waved. “So much! You'll hear from me soon!”

 “Thanks, Caleb!” Daniel called.

Toodles!” Melanie shouted as she grabbed the last bag.

And then all went silent. Silent aside from Caleb's breathing, which was more strained and noticeable than it had been when he'd arrived at the Reed's mansion.

Ohmygod…” the twenty-one year old said quietly. “Ohmyfuckinggod…

What in the absolute fuck had just happened? In less than what, twenty minutes, his life had completely changed. Caleb was now pregnant, with six fucking babies?!

He was six months along with three, and just getting started with the others… It made no sense, and yet it unfortunately did. As he tried to put it all together, Caleb assumed/hoped he was roughly going to remain the same size for a while, which was still a hell of a lot bigger than he'd ever intended on getting, but then..?

The twenty-one year old shuddered to think how big his belly was going to get by the end. He shuddered again when he thought about what was going to happen when he headed home and Tommy saw him.

How the hell was he going to explain this?! He wanted to cry.

At least there was the money… It was a lot of money… That was good, right? All of a sudden, Caleb realized he had his first “real” job, it just wasn't the kind he'd ever previously considered.

His mind raced as the three boys suddenly squirmed within him again, pushing their “little” hands, feet, heads and butts out against his taut skin, completely unaware they were now inside a man, who was not their mother

Caleb most certainly didn't want to face his new reality, but he also didn't want to sit there alone (sort of) in this huge, empty and unfamiliar mega mansion, nice as it was. He had no idea how Tommy was going to react, but knew he needed to find out. First though, he needed to stand the fuck up…

Impressively, he did so on his first try, but he was unsteady on his feet for the first few seconds as he adjusted to his new, awkward center of gravity.

Ohmygod…” Caleb quietly said again as he ran his hands up down and all around his belly. “What the fuck..?

A minute later, he dared to take his first step. As soon as he started moving, he fell into an awkward and heavy waddle, his normal, easy gait, already a thing of the past.

After waddling outside and closing the door behind him, Caleb eyed the two cars in the driveway, his and the Range Rover.

Fuck it,” he said as he headed for the latter. “Might as well make the most of this…” he sighed as he tried to better mentally prepare himself not only for seeing Tommy and informing him of what his new job actually was, but for the next nine months of his life.

God damn it… He REALLY should've read that fine print!
