Update: Looking Ahead!

Hey folks! I know it hasn’t been too long, but I wanted to post another little update today.
Mental Health
First things first, because I feel like mental health issues should be discussed and not stigmatized. I’ve struggled with a bit of depression and anxiety for a long time, but I’ve been able to manage it on my own for awhile now. The U.S. election results pretty much blew that out of the water, and I’m now dealing with a lot of not-unfounded worry and sadness about what may and what likely will occur over the next few years.
Already feeling the blows from this, I had a meeting with my doctor yesterday and this morning picked up my prescriptions for a few anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications. I’ll also start to look into whether I need to talk to a counsellor again or not. Hopefully with some combination I’ll get myself into a condition where I can both pick my battles and put up a fight where it’s necessary, AND continue to get my work done.
My Bigger Boyfriend
And on that note, I DO want to continue doing work, for two reasons. First, with what few talents I have, I can hopefully continue to bring a little joy into everyone’s life every week or so. And secondly, I believe the worst thing to do in the face of threatened autocracy is to preemptively give in. So i’m gonna keep being gay and doing queer work for as long as I can!
My Bigger Boyfriend will continue for the foreseeable future, with maybe an occasional break week if that becomes necessary. If you’re following the free feed and have a couple bucks to spare each month, I could really appreciate the support. Or spread the word and tell your friends! Thank you.
Reefer Bigness!
I’m also planning to continue prepping for the next Coyena Comics story, Reefer Bigness!, in which Eurus is gifted some very special weed by his cousin, and discovers while hanging out with his old schoolfriend Benny Cheetah that it’s got some unexpected embiggening qualities. :) I may be off to a slightly slower start than I’d hoped, as these new medications take their time to stabilize over the next few weeks, but I do plan to have the story finalized and start generating weekly pages in the next month or so, definitely before the year ends. Thank you for your patience.
Again, if you’re interested in this story and can afford a little support, please consider upgrading to the $6 tier to read it as it’s released, or $12 to see pages in higher resolution a day before they post to everyone else. Or if you really wanna help out, folks in the $25 tier will see behind-the-scenes plot outlines, character designs and thumbnail layouts as I develop the story, and weekly rough pencil pages a few days before the final pages post. They also get into a special private chat group with me where I sometimes talk about the creation process or answer questions. Thanks for the consideration! ❤️
Long Term
I’m hoping as I get my bearings again I’ll be able to work through Reefer Bigness pretty quickly in the first half of this coming year. After that, I have a few options … I have at least two other Coyena Comics in mind … One a flashback to Zephyrus’ childhood giving a bit of history to his upbringing, and one a more historical tale telling how one of Boreas and Zephyrus’ ancestors first acquired the crystal that powers their amulet in the 1800s Wild West. In addition, I have two other more longform stories I’d love to get to someday, hopefully sooner rather than later … one is a science fiction story involving various anthro aliens making contact with Earth, the other is a sort of dark-comedy-fantasy featuring werewolves and other magical critters. I haven’t decided exactly which I’ll be tackling next, but I hope you’ll stick with me as long as you find them interesting!
Again, to those of you supporting me here, both financially and morally, thank you so much … it helps me create the things I want to, and share them with people who enjoy them. It means a lot to me.
For now, everyone … Stay safe, choose your battles and fight wisely, support the causes and the creators you’re capable of, and be kind to each other. ❤️

We're all worn pretty thin after last week, certainly don't blame you for needing time to recharge and recover. All the future projects sound excellent though, as always will look forward to more from ya :)
