I was gonna say the Intro was way too long.BUT,I feel the Intro was the Entire episode to a Much Better Movie which starts at the very end of this one.

The rich asshole was played by Peter Weller, RoboCop, Buckaroo Banzai (and insane adventure if you get a chance), and one-time voice of Batman. This one didn't impress me either, despite liking Weller most of the time. It could've been done in 30 minutes.
