You will not be charged for September (this time it's tariffs)

Heads up that you guys won't be billed in September.

I need to figure out what the hell is happening with tariffs before opening Patreon again!!! The prints club is what earns me the most income from Patreon. Around 50 of you are sent items in the mail, and most of you are from the US!

• Most international artists who ship many things to the US are having this panic right now, haha. I am in a lot of group chats with fellow artists as we try to piece things together. It's a bit scary, because we don't know if shipping will be made impossible and ruin our businesses, or just make things slightly more annoying.

• The new tariff stuff takes place on the 29th, and it'll take around two weeks to see what's actually happening when things are shipped. The recipient may be charged a $80 flat fee per item, which of course is unsustainable for us. There may also be dramatic additional customs delays.

• Mod Julian and I will be performing experiments on the US postal system, and I will be keeping an eye on what other folks sending things to the US are saying. I am almost certain there will be a way to avoid the flat fee and get things shipped in a timely manner- I just have to find out how.

• The patreon's progress will be paused. You will not be charged. I still will be making new art, as I did not make all of July's art. You will be sent the $5 and $1 rewards of these artworks if you paid in July/August/September. $30 July rewards have already been sorted out.

I'll keep you all posted on what happens and if any changes end up being made!! Hopefully this is all a load of nothing. I'm just itching to sit down and draw. I hope you like the Rise WIP above- the full picture is on the discord.

I'm sure you saw the last update post on here- it's been so hectic on my end because of tariffs, taxes, moving in with my parents (bless them), and looking for my own house. I'm happy to say I made an offer on a place and it's been accepted.

It's small, but if my mortgage application is accepted it will be mine. I owe it all to you. Thank you so much. You will not have to worry about me stopping making art- I'll have a flipping mortgage to pay soon!!!!

So... it's with a very heavy heart that I am pausing the Patreon for a second month in a row. This is my lifeline, my routine, you all are what keeps me going, your financial support is my wage. I rest easy knowing what's coming every month. I don't want it to end. <3 So I'll make damn SURE we adapt to this!!!

(Thanks to the Miku sticker shop event , I have enough money to last another month, so I will be okay financially- no need to worry.)

The ball will be back rolling when all this FAFF is sorted, I swear to god. If any of you guys can reverse the De Minimis end, that would be great, hahah.
