I vaguely remember this episode as a kid. I always skipped these small arcs on rewatch. It just blew my mind that someone so trust worthy becomes the traitor. The disturbing thing is the corruption gets worse than this episode.

A few of the mystery stuff like games and anime I've watched liked to put in a suspect that is too obvious, like they make them a bitch or a dickhead and are there to make you think they're the killer, but the thing is the story tries so hard to make you think they're the killer that you realize it's too obvious. I believe their called the "Red Herring." or something like that. The second I saw the crying Rodian after his death I figured it was her. Of course, in hindsight I should have figured it was her since... ya know, you put her name in the title.
