my game at google i/o bengaluru for the indie games accelerator!

i just came back from google i/o bengaluru and the google indie games accelerator graduation in india, so here are two photos of the event!

(i actually participated in the accelerator with A TAVERN FOR TEA, but i feel like that game is harder to "show" than A YEAR OF SPRINGS so i chose A YEAR OF SPRINGS instead for the little exhibit...)

the accelerator was a cool opportunity to meet a lot of different indie devs & i'm very grateful for it, even though i don't personally agree with how google seems to think ai is the future of app dev 😅 (google i/o was very ai-heavy.)

personally i am going to keep making games the same way as i always have - by myself, as a human - & i think there's still a future for human-made games, since i believe people will always want to share their experiences with other people (:

i am quite exhausted after the event though so i'm going to be taking some time off to recuperate before i get back to game dev!

for now though, i want to share some of the games made by other people in the accelerator which i think are cute:

i agree with you on your description of art! i don't see the point of it is there isn't anyone making it.

Glad to see you shown off more! And especially glad for your stance on AI. I really do not want to pit my desire to support you forever against my hatred towards AI's attempt to remove the humanity from art. Which imo is the whole point, I want to make a connection with another person and thier views and ideas and such.
