various android updates!
Added 2023-08-09 12:40:48 +0000 UTCif you have my games installed on android you'll have noticed i have updated a bunch of them today (some of them multiple times, sorry........)
update overview is
- more stability, which hopefully means less crashing (by updating from renpy 7.5 to 8.1!)
- changing default volume from 0.75 to 1.0 because renpy 7.6/8.1 apparently makes 1.0 quieter than it was in 7.5 which is honestly VERY ANNOYING because i have all my audio mixed to be the right volume for the previous levels and i think it's really dumb that the engine made a change like this without any way to easily revert it and i am honestly very annoyed with renpy for this... why would you do this... (this means that if you have the game installed already when you look at the volume slider button it might have disappeared but if you click on it it will show up again...)
- updated news module to work with python 3 since renpy 8 uses python 3 rather than 2 which i am told is VERY OLD
my main goal was point 1 there but the last 2 points took waaaaaaaay too much of my time when updating... so i hope those of you with android phones appreciate all the trouble i went through 😢

I imagine the Python 3 stuff was also a bit of a pain, but y'know...... the fact that your games all have a new module is SO FRICKING COOL TO ME AAAA. Either way, congratulations on your updated Android games!!!!!!
