it's june, happy pride month!

for me since i'll be in canada for the first bit of june for toronto games week, i'll mostly be busy with that until i get back to japan, but this is my plan for the rest of the month:
- more work on marron! porting is taking much longer than i expected... it only took a couple of weeks to make the game originally, but a lot of game logic stuff changed from gb studio to 1 to 3 so i'm having to rework a lot of it 😭
- prepping for tokyo game dungeon which i'll be attending at the end of july!! need to make a trailer &c. for marron by the middle of the month to submit so i'm hoping to work on that in between toronto games week & the little bit of time i have after i get back to japan
- i may or may not do a small game jam since i love idle games (https://itch.io/jam/ssjidle) but i need to see if i have time for it first
- testing out if i can port a tavern for tea to naninovel in unity...! this is lower priority since i'm just doing it to learn but if it works out well i will share it with all of you
- a postcard for all of you 💖
i'm also working on douZINE issue 2...! i've mentioned before but i'll be talking about douZINE stuff occasionally here on my patreon too since i'm really excited about working on it, but it's separate from my own dev stuff. the plan is to release it in july so i can have physical copies available for tokyo game dungeon (:
having real-life events always takes a lot out of me

Hopefully ya get a chance to make something out of that, but, regardless of that possibility, hopefully the Marron progress goes smoothly as hell!!! Interesting that the framework for logic/scripting/event making in that older version of GB Studios would be different enough to cause frustration, but I suppose it's sort of a nice thing; GB STUDIO HAS COME SO FAR!!! IT'S MUCH MORE POWERFUL NOW THAN IT WAS BEFORE!!!!! (Still unfortunate, tho...) And, hopefully all of the real-life activities go down smoothly!!! Unsure how Toronto Games Week is, but I'm sure it'll be exciting!!!! MANY FOLKS WILL BE EXPOSED TO THE PHENOMENON KNOWN AS DOUZINE, AND THEY SHALL BE ELATED!!!!!!!!! Speaking of, very much looking forward to douZINE 2, as always!! Loved all the games from the previous set (even if Chewing Boy in specific probably killed my brain a little........ It was very fun, but those monkeys in the later stages.......... Augh........ So difficult......!!!) ONCE AGAIN, MAY PRIDE MONTH BE FRUITFUL AND EXCELLENT FOR US ALL!!!!! GANBAAAAA!!!!!!
