Now that I have had some free time it's great that the Star Wars Clone Wars was picked, I absolutely love it. I also see you have started Fairy Tail another amazing anime. Though the Galuna Island arch is not one of my favorites, it's not bad and I enjoyed watching the first few times. But I have seen Fairy Tail over 30 times, so I kind of skip my least favorite arch's. Once your past it I will definitely start watching along though. That being said hope you are doing well and can't wait to see more reactions.

The Sith and Corpos like Gunray hijacked the movement for their own power and wealth. This is example of neutral worlds joining the CIS.

Another had him strand his family on a deserted island because of his clumsy handling a the ship. His incompetence and clumsiness ended up driving his father to try to blow his own brains out....and Jar Jar even fucked that up walking into his father, having the shot just barely miss and singe the top of his head.

He was actually banished under penalty of death from his home city. Then Obi-Wan and his master Qui-Gon found him and he eventually became a representative in the senate.

There’s a non cannon comic of his parents being stranded on a remote island on some planet, all hope is lost and Jar Jars father is gonna commit suicide, Jar Jars mother try’s to stop him by telling him to think of their son and the dad with no second thought just pulls the trigger. He failed of course but I just found that funny.

2023-06-19 13:05:05 +0000 UTCbecause of these reactions I'm finally watching this show all the way thru. I decided to go back and watch the first two prequel movies just to get some context. There were so many opportunities during the phantom menace for Jar Jar to die. All of which he narrowly avoided. It was as if the movie was trying to tell me "You thought you could get rid of him that easily you fool! Jar Jar will never die! Your stuck with him!" It was truly painful. It's the way he moves in those movies that I found really upsetting. whatever they where going for it just didn't work. "Jar Jar is the key to all of this"- actual George Lucas quote because for some reason he thought that this guy was going to be a hilarious fan favorite.

Here he actually accomplished something useful (in a clumsy and dumb way) while in the movies he's purely there for slapstick comedy, while contributing nothing useful (and avoiding spoiler details, actually helps trigger a massive negative event).
