Damn! I'm amazed at how much they could make me feel for a villain, as I also rooted for his demise!

HARD-HITTING EPISODE! - My Hero Academia #116

Comments

Every time I see twice die, I cry. He's my favorite character.

The problem there for me is that my Wifi is a community wide wifi which blocks some things, any time i use it, my download gets an error. I'll have to try again when I'm at my parents and see if it works there.

Sean PaulT60

This actually happens to me from time to time, it hasn't been a big bother to me cause if it don't play I'll just download it from Mega, but I have had this happen to me semi frequently

Noah

I'm watching it by clicking on the link, I'm not actually logged into the app (I don't think my wifi would allow it. Is watching it through browser different from just clicking on the link?

Sean PaulT60

I would try and watch them in a browser as often as possible, My Friend. The app screws things all the time!... I rarely ever even use the MEGA app anymore; I try to keep everything in a browser.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Damn, I've encountered an issue lately with the Mega app or whatever you use to show us your reaction, basically some of your videos won't play for me, like its stuck as an Infinite loop of loading. Only some of your reactions do this to me and sometimes I'll come back to some that had this issue only for it to not have the issue anymore. Videos like your first Clone Wars movie part reaction some of your Fairy Tale and this episode just won't play for me. I don't think it's a you problem since I have seen no one complaining about this issue but nonetheless I'm kinda stuck. Curtis do you have any idea how I can fix this, online hasn't really given me any answers and I'm not sure what else to do about it.

Twice is a tragic villain. Not a good guy, obviously chose the wrong path and needed to be defeated. But so much of the league of villains have this semblance of ...what could have been. Shiggy , twice, toga, spinner...all murderers but it's still sad. One of the central themes of this show is the villains. Someone like Gentle in s4 was a failed hero. Another character introduced this season is great too . Compare that with someone like Muscular, who is just a psycho.

crazizzle85

I know this was about Twice but I love how when Toga realizes what's happening she goes to embrace him and at least let a piece of him know that he saved them

Daniel Gonzalez

Yup! Very interesting dynamic!

Spaz Boys Comedy

12:00 what Twice was saying is 100% true, a prevailing theme in this series is the abandonment of children by the heroes leading to the creation of monsters, specifically shigaraki. remember in his backstory, Kid Shiggy was walking around town covered in blood and dirt and everyone just said "I'm sure a hero will help you". thats what stain was talking about, society has built itself on the idea of heroes because of all might and it refuses to acknowledge its made people complacent and giving them an excuse to be overall shitty people and expect heroes to take care of every and ignoring that most of those heroes are fake and just in it for the paycheck

MWS

Interesting how the attitudes of Hawks and Twice are flipped from the usual tropes of hero and antagonist. Usually its the hero that's fighting for friendship and the villain that has a master plan and tricked the naive hero, but in this case its the opposite.

J Johnson

Twice was the 1 character i wanted nothing to happen to, he's my fav character of the series, so I cried so much when I read the chapter for this, I was hoping for some way for to have lived it.

Noah

This storytelling definitely allows for empathy towards some of the villains!

Spaz Boys Comedy

I sympathize with twice. Sometimes you feel like you’re only around to make everybody else happy.

Freddy Jimenez

Yea, there's a lot of tragedy within the villains.

Spaz Boys Comedy

This storytelling has been spot-on brutal this season!

Spaz Boys Comedy

I never wanted Twice to die, he felt like someone who could've been a hero had he found where he belonged differently. Goes to show the difference in certain villains and how they're portrayed, as well as the issues with the current system

Lewd Angel

One of my favorite episodes of the series. Twice was always my favorite villain, and I definitely cried the first time I watched this episode... So well done!
