JEN: How'd the talk go with the kid?
PAUL: I think I managed to make her feel a little better. She has a little sister who's all alone now back home.
JEN: Well, that's what foster homes are for.
PAUL: Jen!
JEN: If she's in Toyland, then it means she wasn't suited to be a guardian or role model.
PAUL: ...Not all families are like yours, Jennifer.
JEN: [pause] Yeah, well, they CAN be, and the fact they all aren't is UNFAIR.
PAUL: [hugs Jen]
