They picked the wrong episodes to make a movie. I couldn’t believe the Ahsoka character was panned initially. I liked Ahsoka from the start.

Or at least 1 and 2, with 3 after CW. The show only improves the experience of watching Episode 3, after all.

2023-06-07 14:05:48 +0000 UTCTrying to stay vague to avoid spoilers: Curtis, regarding Padme, she was introduced in the prequel trilogy (which this series is an extension of) and is the queen/representative of the planet Naboo. She and Anakin have a close relationship. I think you're kind of expected to know who most of the main characters are in this series as it came out after the movies, so they are introduced without a lot of explanation.

2023-06-07 13:02:45 +0000 UTCI'm glad you liked the film, I've got fond memories of it as well, it's really hated online for some reason though, on Rotten Tomatoes it has a critic score of 18% and an audience score of 40%, it's no where near that bad lol, it's a simple fun film. ok, so I'm going to explain some important things from the films, so it can get kind of spoilery, but it's stuff they kind of assume you know before seeing the clone wars animated series, the series takes place between the second and third film, so I'll stick to just important things from the first two, there's... there's a lot to cover, so sorry for it being so long lol. In the first film Anakin and his mother were slaves on Tatooine, Kenobi and his master are the ones who freed Anakin by winning him in a bet, but they couldn't rescue his mother... in the second film Anakin goes back to find her, but it turns out she'd already been freed and married someone, but was kidnapped by Tusken Raiders, Anakin tracks her down to save her, but she ends up dying in his arms, so... Anakin slaughters the entire village of tusken raiders, men, women and children, that's why he doesn't want to remember the past. Anakin and Padme Amidala are secret lovers and actually married, that's why you probably know the name, the Jedi forbid romance, that's why it's secret. Dooku and Anakin fought at the end of the second film, Dooku actually cut off Anakin's right arm in the fight, like if you look at Anakin's design you'll notice he always wears a black glove on that hand, that's the reason why, it's to hide the fact that it's a robotic arm. Some background info on Dooku from the films, he was a former Jedi master and Yoda's apprentice before leaving them because he was disillusioned by the corruption in the Galactic Senate and the Jedi. I'm hesitant to tell you who the Emperor is in this, but you'll probably be able to guess who later
