hello, this is a post just to say that i plan on closing the discord server i have on the 11th of this month. this means that the discord perk for patreon will also be removed. i'm sorry that this is so sudden, but it's something i have been thinking on for the past few weeks.

to explain a bit of my reasoning, the server was created almost three years ago, and honestly it's just got much bigger than i ever expected, and i don't think i can moderate it responsibly without putting in more time and effort than i have available. i don't want to leave an official space with my name on it unmoderated though, so i have decided to close it.

while the server will be closed to messages from the 11th onwards, the server itself will be kept open past that date so that members can message other members for ways to keep in contact.

i'm sorry that this might seem very sudden, but i promise you it isn't a decision i've made lightly or in haste.

i will continue to update on patreon as usual (and probably a bit more frequently since the stuff i posted on discord first will be posted on patreon instead). i am also always reading comments here!
