little update about translations
Added 2021-05-22 01:17:00 +0000 UTCthis isn't a big post or anything but i'm just excited about it so i wanted to share it with you all.
right now i have two other translations in the works for a year of springs!!! thanks to your support i feel like i can afford to pay for more translations so hopefully you'll see two more languages added in the future (though not thaaaat soon - it's going to take a while!)
releasing a year of springs as a paid game has been a big learning experience for me but it's been very fun so far too since i'm getting to do a lot of things i haven't before. financially speaking, translating to languages other than englsh does not actually really boost sales most of the time (at least in my experience!*) but i like the idea of having my games available for more people to play, so it's something i want to keep doing (:
i've also made a fairly lengthy post on itch.io about a year of springs' w1 sales in general - give it a read if you want! https://t.co/6BBrzrlxYt
*i've heard that translating to chinese can boost sales a lot but i don't have much experience there so i can't comment on it

2021-05-22 11:49:58 +0000 UTCThanks again for this very touching trilogy; it may be kind of niche as you said in your devlog (I think I came across the first one on Steam as it looked like a small and wholesome VN with queer themes, and THEN went to search for the other two on itch.io), but it's definitely a niche game I'll be recommanding for its gentle handling of a lot of subjects dear to me <3 It's great to see that the release was fun for you and went well! I have yet to replay the trilogy and see the epilogue, but I'm waiting very enthusiastically for having some time to do so!
