last month i finished updating all my games with a new language menu (see the images!) and also switched to renpy's universal apk for all my android games (this means that instead of uploading 3 apks for every update, i can upload just 1!)
it took me longer than i thought it would, but i also finished creating my default project files (first image above showing the default languages), which should make it easier for me when creating new games in renpy so that i can get right into it without doing so much prep every time. something exciting (to me... and probably not other people, but it took a heck of a long time for me to do it so i will talk about it here) is that i finally got renpy's built-in accessibility screen (you can get to it by pressing 'a' on the keyboard on computer) to be able to show languages that are not included in the default font (so mostly cjk). so my future games should have the built-in accessibility menu shown in the correct language even when you're playing in chinese, japanese or korean!
for august though my plans are...
i feel like i've mentioned this every month since march but i hope you are all doing ok. this year is more than halfway over but things are still pretty tough everywhere. please take care of yourselves & make sure to rest when you need it.
