download: scrapped scenes from a tavern for tea

as i said at the beginning of the month, i'm updating all of my games with language menus &c. to make them generally more user-friendly & update-friendly, and i found a couple of scrapped scenes from a tavern for tea i'd forgotten about, so here they are in a pdf.

(cut-and-paste from the beginning of the pdf to explain the setting)

as a bit of info that never makes it into the game, horns' name is bel & new customer's name is hart. 

bel is actually fairly high-ranking in the demon world - he rules this specific domain, but it's not as exciting as it seems. mostly he has to do a lot of paperwork and make sure everything is in order, but that would be a lot easier if the human adventurers weren't making trouble... when he finds his work too stressful and needs a break, he slips away from his desk and sneaks into a little tavern where only tea is served. 

hart is an adventurer who's saved very many princesses and has more than earned a happily ever after for himself, but for some reason, he keeps adventuring... he doesn't really know himself what he wants, but he finds himself stepping into a little tavern in the demon domain after a day of adventuring. 

the owner has no name, and nobody knows much about him. he serves some pretty fantastic tea and is a very good listening

usually i just delete stuff i scrap so it's unusual that these scenes survived... i like the little bit of extra backstory they give but i do think the game works better without this info in the game itself. 

the updates are taking a very long time for me to deal with so i haven't had time to brainstorm ideas for the new jam game, but i hope these scenes will be a fun read. (they certainly were for me, since i'd completely forgotten about writing them...)
