Q: Does using a red color filter on phone at night negate the effects of blue light?
A: It does. I linked an instagram post I made below (not patreon, it's free info) on all the things you can do to mitigate blue light exposure at night.
Color filters on phone is one. I personally would still wear blue blockers at night because color filters probably isn't taking out all of the BL unfortunately. But it does significantly reduce it. I'd say by probably 90-95% or more. I basically leave it on all day. You can set it as an accessibility feature where you just triple press the off button and it will toggle between regular display and whatever you have color filters set to.
I can't help you if you don't have an iPhone but I'm sure you can figure it out or find a YouTube video or something
Q: Thymalin safe for those with autoimmunity
A: I'm not your doctor and I can't give you personalized medical advice. However, most peoples experience with thymalin (including those with autoimmunity) has been entirely positive from what I've seen. The immune relies on a balanced ratio of T-cell types. So you have T-cells (which activate other immune cells), cytotoxic T- cells (which kill infected cells), and regulatory T-cells (Tregs suppress immune activity to prevent overreaction which is what autoimmunity is).
Thymalin is basically going to help maintain this balance by regulating the proportions of those sub populations. Thats really the key. It’s not just jacking up different arms of the immune system — it’s acting like an adaptogen. for instance, when it enhances the activity of Tregs, you get immuno tolerance.
Tregs help prevent the immune system from attacking the body's own tissues. Short chain fatty acids like butyrate will also do this, which is why fungal protocol is so big for people with poor immunity. You need the right comensal bacteria. Thymalin won't fix that by itself but it is a useful adjunct. When you combine these low molecular weight, short chain peptides (bio-regulators )actively WITH the gut piece...you get synergistic magic. More covered on thymalin, Where to source it and ideas on how to use it (not med advice) in the bio-reg article
Q: Been experimenting w some supps fr herpes & had some good results. Will share wit u Itr
A: You don't need to take supplements for herpes. Lysine and all the rest aren't necessary if you fix your immune system. If you're relying on supplements to suppress viral replication, you're not addressing the problem. You're compensating around it
Q: Some say lactose intolerance is actually normal as an adult?
A: Lactose intolerance as an adult is actually not normal. It means you lost keystone microbes needed to breakdown lactose. This can be fixed with the fungal protocol, and many have addressed their lactose intolerance simply by restoring bacteria like bifido and removing pathogen load. It makes absolutely zero difference wether you have the nuclear genes to digest lactose or not because the ability to digest it can be aquired directly from the microbial genome - the other 'genome' no one ever talks about. If you're lacto intolerant it means your microbiome is probably trashed
Q: Deterium deplerion worth it?
A: Yes. It dramatically improves cancer survival rates. In a perfect world, i'd tell everyone to do a low dose of DDW that they use to dilute a small portion of their regular drinking water with. Particularly for prevention.
Especially given the rates we're seeing now (about 50% of most people will get cancer at some point in their life). problem is that it's extremely expensive. So unless you have a lot of money and are willing to spend $200-300 a month, it's probably not practical for most people. Unless you have BRCA1 or BRCA2 tumor suppressor genes or other big, known risk factors. Or an active cancer obviously in that case, work with an expert who can guide you through using DDW obviously). I've written a lot of articles that include information about it on the patreon. If you type in deuterium in the search bar, it should come up.
Q: Any thoughts on getting rid of herpes?
A: You're asking the wrong question. You don't need to get rid of viruses. Most you can't fully eradicate.
Rather, you need a strong immune system that can supress it and prevent re-activation. Over 70% (I believe it's probably more honestly) of the US population has herpes. That means you and your partner probably have it and don't even know. Likely the same for EBV, CMV and Lyme. The vast majority of people don't realize it because they never have symptoms..until the immune system gets perturbed. So again, this goes back to all the core fundamentals for robust immunity - exercise, sleep, circadian hygiene, sunlight, diet, microbiome etc
Q: Do you think exposure to blue light alone could be holding someone back from healing
A: I wrote another IG post on this specifically - "blue light exposure (your phone being a big source) at night leads to dysregulated cellular
housekeeping. Full stop. blue light interferes with melatonin production. When melatonin levels drop, it not only affects your ability to fall asleep but also impairs autophagy- your body's way of cleaning out damaged cells and regenerating new ones.Autophagy and circadian rhythms are intricately linked. Research shows that autophagy follows a circadian pattern, meaning its effectiveness peaks at certain times of day, particularly during sleep. If your sleep is disrupted by artificial light, especially blue light, you're not just losing sleep; you're also sabotaging your body's natural repair processes. That's how things like cancer start That's how people who are otherwise really healthy' get sick and stay sick. It's the one piece of the equation everyone misses. It's not a small rock. It's right up there with diet and exercise. That's how monumental this is for your bottom line.
Of course. But you're never going to get most people to believe this because it's such a pervasive, 'normal' part of life. Exposure to blue light at night WILL phase shift the circadian clock. This means that the timing of various biological processes (like metabolism and hormone release) will become misaligned with the natural day-night cycle. For example, if local tissue clocks are set to different timings due to inconsistent light exposure, it's going lead to inefficiencies in processes like repair and metabolism. Local oscillators in tissues are influenced by the SCN and external cues.
Particularly morning sunlight and then complete darkness at night. Blue light causes desynchronization between these local clocks and the master clock, resulting in "micro-chaos" at the individual tissue level.
So you get impaired functions such as collagen production, mitophagy, and autophagy (cellular clean up and repair). Immune surivlence is also dramatically impacted by blue light. This is was there's a strong link between night shift work and certain cancers.
Q: peptide bio-regulators over organ supplements/meats?
A: Yes. The capsules in particular ARE desicated organs. A few of the injectables (thymalin, cortexin, prostatin and retiemalanin) are as well. They're just purified even further to concentrate the bio-active peptide fractions. They still contain all of the co-factors like the other amino acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals etc. anything you'd want to use a dedicated organ extract for...bio-regulators likely do better. Especially compared to things like desicated thyroid and thymus. I'd much rather have someone use a bio-regulator like thymogen over a thyroid glandular. I have a full guide on bio-regulator if you're interested and want more info on using them
